Thank you for making this I actually intended for my new self titled, third album for this one man band of mind called viral monstrosity that just came out only a month ago as I am typing this to be more slam but with beatdown elements but having a much lower tempo than my previous album from last year and having much more simplistic and repetitive riffs for that album than I did on the previous album.I hope to continue with it even more with my next album which is a very similar direction to what one of the godfathers of slam, internal bleeding themselves did. Thank you very much for making this though and yeah I certainly never forget my bass drops ever!!! How like them is the longer the better!!!!💥💥💣💣🔨🔨

The only issue I have with slam beat down , is every song has tough guy interjection where’s he’s like “WTF is up … 2023 , I’m coming for you” not literately those words but similar. Except chamber of malice they can do anything they want to ♥️

@@slambodianjones not the biggest fan of ED personally (no pun intended) but Devourment is one of my favorite bands of all time. Slam as we know is pretty oversaturated and repetitive but you can still find gems. Recently found Psychosomatic Self-Mutilation to be enjoyable. The overuse of compound words for band names cracks me up but it's still heavy shit that delivers. I know I sound like a elitist princess but I've been in the game since 12 years old. I'm 28 now and used to do a few dm projects here and there and jam all the time (used to play drums and was rather good at it). Unfortunately due to a traumatic brain injury from a car accident in 2018 I can no longer attend shows 😞 loud music and flashing lights is no bueno

@@IceTrey98c definitely agree modern day slam is oversaturated. I didn’t like EDs newest release lol, but will be glad to see them with an OG band in a couple of weeks. That’s terrible about not being able to perform, hopefully you were able to fill that void in other ways! Cheers buddy 🤘🏻

slam doesnt rly have tremolo riffs tbh

Devourment uses some tremolo riffs and so does Internal Bleeding but ok

@@Bound_And_Skinned_Official i feel like u could retrospectively say that internal bleeding isnt slam. they rly dont have enough of the stylistic characteristics to be (vocals, guitarwork, etc.) and devourment uses them so sparsely that u can make an exception. however, telling ppl to put trems in their slam is misinfo
