Barbara Wren of the college of natural nutrition used to say of the body, ‘the solution is more important than the solute. Everything happens in the context of the fluidity of the body’, a big fan of the author of ‘the bodies many cries for water’. Holding space with true care cannot be over valued. That’s what a Doula, or shaman does in ceremony!
