Unfortunately there are too many people praising this game, so it might never get fixed, I'm waiting for TDUSC to drop on the 5th. I did buy the Deluxe CarX Street and got to level 30 and got bored of it.

@@rokkyplays i think its pretty harsh that fuel and tires cost thousands, bodykits go over 100k at times, changing alingment and such costs tens of thousands after you buy the tens of thousands worth of parts do be able to change it. and the races promise 5-6k at best but thats only if you get first place every time, you might get 2k if you get 3rd place in a time trial

-Story, lots of customizations, nice selection of vehicle. -Map and roads look fun to drive/race/drift around. -Real street racing (not gimmick legalized because it's part of a festival) with actual rivals and cars to win when you beath them. This is what I want!

You forgot trash physics, terrible economy, bad graphics, tire wear and fuel in a pure arcade racing gaming it’s gimmicky because it literally does nothing leave it out of arcade games!!! Why is this stuff in a pure arcade racer leave that in sim and simcade games. Why is it you have to pay for every single thing you do in this game just to fast travel cost thousands just to change cars you own cost thousands of dollars why do I need to pay to switch vehicles???

Tires are shared between cars which is why it’s 5 sets, also buying sports fuel doesn’t really do anything:>

Sports fuel gives all cars about 10-15% more torque (not power, since it's mostly the same at high rpm), very noticeable on C1 cars.

Proper button settings is A for Clutch and X for e-brake (on PlayStation X for Clutch and Square for e-brake) so I can tap both at the same time when I'm drifting, because pulling e-brake without clutch stalls the car because you're basically locking the rear wheels

Alternatively you can try my setup, which is (xbox xontroller) A = handbrake, B up shift, X Down shift and LB clutch. Feels really good when you get used to it.

I think so bc I've seen this method from a ytuber channel, he and his friend just cruising around in a empty server and when they both sign out they end up in the same server w hella traffic and start cutting up.

on these Car X games, i’ve noticed when customising, if you want a wide body, you have to pick one of the presets with the wide body you want on it, and then you can change the individual parts i wish you could change the fenders individually like in Need for Speed, but hey still not bad

Keen to see how this game progresses, it has some good potential, I think people are being too harsh about the economy, its refreshing not being spammed with cars but they will need to balance the end game, the 70 car achievement in the current setup will take a very long time.

I havent had any issues with the grind. I got 3 supped cars. To progress rather fast, do the campaign. Then for multiplayer, bet some S. I won 50S in a hedge bet with my tureno in the togue then 2JZTT my supra and now thats my massive money maker. Yes, engine swaps need to be freaking cash, get rid of the S. But i wont lie if i say i havent had any issues.

This looks nice, and quite fun. Honestly, the moment you trashed your tires on the curb and had to buy new ones, my mind was made up. Screw this. That's taking the idea of damage too far. I refuse to be nickel and dimed to death that way. Unless money comes in sufficient quantity to make it worth my while. Anyone know anything about that? This is realistic, btw. Irl you hit a curb too fast, the tire gets knocked right off the rim. What's not realistic is needing to replace the tire. A real mechanic would just take a tool to it and air it back up. I know this for a fact because it happened to my own car twice. Drugs and driving do NOT mix.

To be honest, I haven`t really played the game much despite it ticking alot of boxes for me, because I was put off by the performance issues, to where my pc (a laptop with a 1650ti mobile, an i5 10300h and 16gb of ram) is capable of 60+ fps in most areas except that it stutters pretty badly, and on my rog ally the most I`d see is md 40s fps regardless of settings, and some really bad stutters too. That being said, by messing around with the settings I found that framerate becomes solid if I limit it to 30 fps on my laptop (even on high, though at that point I do see some dips every now and than), and it seems to make the game infinitely more playable on the Ally as well, with a quick test showing that 1080p medium at 30 fps is doable on 15w, even though 60 fps at 720p low and 30w is impossible. I really want to get into the game, but it needs optimizing really bad, becaue playing at 30fps feels wrong to me, and the way fps fluctuates wildly and stutters makes me think there is some tuning to be done, and it`s not my hardware that`s lacking power
