As a young child, mom and I would watch Jack and exercise along with him. My favorite was Happy the dog. I loved and still love dogs although I could never get mine to exercise with us like Happy sometimes did. I recall JL with great fondness. RIP Jack.

Jack jumping into the bay with nothing more than a swim cap and speedos. And the lung power needed to tow all of the boats in Long Beach Harbor, while handcuffed and shackled. The guy was a BEAST!

I started watching the show when I was about 5 or 6,,,1967 maybe, watched it for atleast a year for some reason..along with mighty mouse, superman, etc...and yep, in 1982 I tore a california phone book in two but not the way he did it in this episode...where it all began for me...still working out 50 yrs later
