My suggestion is to be very careful when responding to people who you need to do business with. If someone is being unfair or abusive, it's generally more productive to take some time before responding. You can vent to others on social media, or to personal friends or family to let off steam.

Right. Me personally, I would have called and left a voice message instead of texting well in advance if I think I might be late, etc. Also, I would have gotten the name and number of the supervisor of the lady that was being rude and spoken to him/her and let them deal with it.

30 min late? It's not like you was 1-2 hours late.. that was so crazy!! What a bad day!! It gets better trust me. Sometimes it seems when it rains it storms!! It will get better. But make sure you report that lady and show your proof you text in advance.. and if you still have your job, sit down with HR and your manager and let them know you have to be out of there at a certain time each day and get it in writing. again report the crap out of that non professional lady. I’m also a preschool teacher and the first time a parent is late I give them a verbal warning but the policy is $1 per minute charge. As far as calling DFAC I would not call them if a parent is only 30 minutes late but if it’s hours late that is the policy.

Oh, the plight of the overworked hotel cleaner. How *dare* her manager expect her to, *gasp*, actually do her job? It's simply *inhumane* to ask someone to put in a little extra effort, especially when it might inconvenience their kids. After all, children are far more important than, you know, *paying the bills* and *keeping a roof over their heads*. Perhaps she should consider the glamorous world of self-employment, where she can set her own hours, answer to no one, and never, ever have to deal with the *horrors* of a boss. Of course, she'll need to be prepared for the crushing responsibility of managing her own finances, marketing her services, and dealing with unpredictable income. But hey, at least she won't have to worry about a pesky manager breathing down her neck. In the real world, most jobs require some level of effort and responsibility. If she's not willing to put in the work, she might want to rethink her career choices. Or, you know, she could try winning the lottery. That always works out well.

Right a grace period. but overall the daycare close at 5:30 & government building close at 6. I was told she my the daycare manager supervisor now & that she will be the one closing. For her to be in that position she sure rude!!! Ppl don’t really be taking care of situations correctly. I feel they all try to have each other back in defense.. Smh.

My advice to you would be go over your managers head talk to hr or whomever over him and tell them you have to be off by this time because you have to pick your kids up, if denied that I would start looking something new asap, also you mentioned you have a car have you thought about doing Uber eats or door Dash for extra cash, it's pretty lucrative in bigger cities if you stay consistent. I don’t have a car.. I want to get a new one. My last car I was in an accident.. & she’s new there I guess she the daycare manager upper supervisor.. But she not the owner of the daycare.. She needs fired. She lied & said I called her out of her name & the manager today was defending her but she said she reported it & said I txted her late. Paying the most turning a run down house into a beautiful home. .y money got stoled after a while I just got used. She forgot how broung her up. She started cheated stealling my money. Even lift out 12oclock got back 3oclock one night. Everybody saying I'm dumb. Yes I was. We got divorce she married one man she was cheating with. Her girl friend the preacher son. Long story short he giving her hell now. Not paying bills beating on her. I healed her when I meant her from a man beating on her. To say that I'm seeing you deffrent then when you first start. It's something about b. Woman they very much over value their self. But your very beautiful a man like me only ask to be love i don't went Noone to give. Evendough a bum man yall do everything for. But I believe every woman then had a good man before. But if he don't over value and put on and act for yall. Yall don't want him. To get back to my point your beautiful I see now. Why you can't get a man like me I loved my step children and a son wasn't biological not my son. I.provide for them all my step children cause I loved their mother because they a part of her. Marriage, everyone of us at times experience difficulties, where life just happens. I mean, unexpected situations, "PERIOD. That we as people have no control over. Sweetheart, pull your manager to the side and explain to him that you are a single mother and without a vehicle; and are relying on city busses to get your children to and from to Daycare and also to work daily. Show him the "VIDEO RECORDING, of what happened when you were trying to complete your "JOB DUTIES" that caused you to run 30-minuntes late picking up your children. It was all quite chaotic for Westiebestie but, this too shall pass. ❤

I could be wrong but I don't believe that you should be liable to pay sixty dollars for running late Westindie, when there wasn't a prior notification given. This is absurd. Sounds to me that this Daycare Provider woman was angry that you ran late and pulled out an outlandish figure of $60.00 to try and charge you. This isn't RIGHT nor is is it FAIR. Address this matter with "whom it may concern. Try not to worry to much over this situation. Take a warm bath, relax and "PRAY"🙏🏾it will work "ALL" work-out in YOUR FAVOR💯😇💜

I guess they suppose to charge if you have more than one kid. I’m aware it’s a fee if you’re late. but this person was something else.

For all they know she could have been stuck in traffic, behind a car accident, construction SHIT HAPPENS.... I've worked in daycares and couldn't imagine making a mom feel bad for being late. And especially calling them a bad parent for it. I would do anything and everything in my power to let her know it's ok, it happens... I'm glad you made it their safe to get your child. I would also make her child feel content and comfortable until mommy arrives. You can tell that lady prolly treated the kid wrong while waiting cus she was mad. S Coming from a big back ...she was hangry !!!!! I would never leave my child around that women! She's a slob!!! Some of these commenters must live in a fairty tail world and i dont want no part in it. Let them fire you, recieve unemployment as you gina a better job that appreciates you !!!
