You're right but I wonder how much the mother contributed to her being so disrespectful. It probably started with her enabling this type of behavior and tolerated it when it was directed at others. The difference now is the girl is directing this behavior towards her. This girl looks to be between 12-14 yrs. No one starts to behave this way overnight unless in the rare case if she's being sexually abused and threatened and is lashing out. I am inclined to believe that she's spoiled rotten and now is when the mother is trying to put rules in place she's rebelling since none existed before. I must commend the first officer for being polite, respectful and calm. Job well done. A kid who one day will need your help will be thankful for this.
