Quick tip, if you can see any fold in the eyelid area, even if it's minute, it isnt a monolid, it's a hooded eyelid. Oh and google images and other internet pictures are not good examples, I typed in monolid and went to images yet most of the people shown simply had extremely hooded eyes not literally mono lids.

I find it interesting too. There's a white girl in my village (in Wales, UK) who posts on her Instagram that she's aggressively Swedish. She's started to talk in an accent and everything. She's not right in the head and has had a bad past. I think these people either have a lack of identity and latch onto a culture OR have had a life full of shame, causing them to change personalities in order to not face those feelings.
