About owning an electric car here in the Philippines right now. Featuring: The Leapmotor C11 SUV

I was invited again by torakku motors to check out and ride another electric car, but this time an SUV, the Leapmotor C11. A 5 door 5 seater electric SUV, with a range of 500km, with 360 n-m of torque.
So here are some nice things i noticed during the ride.
1. It is very luxurious and modern inside. It has 3 big screens where the passenger can easily access or control some things like the music, the temperature control. etc.
2. It has no engine vibrations. when we stop at a triffic, it feels like i was seated at a very comfortable chair at home or at an office or at a spa. And when sir deo steps on the acceleration pedal again, it feels like the cars is being pushed by a giant to move forward.
3. number 3 is that the acceleration is so instant. We were on a 2 lane road towards pulang bato and there was a big truck several meters in front of us driving on the opposite direction. When sir deo overtook the pedicab in front of us, i though he was just going to take the pedicab, but he actually took 2 pedicabs with still so much allowance between us and the big truck.
4. it has good safety features.
5. Good sound system, it has 12 speakers.
6. Modern features like you can close the windows and everything through your remote, etc. There are still a lot more nice things about that car which i can’t ellaborate more because i only spent a short time with it

The timing is not yet right. The infrastructure to support EVs like charging stations are too few in between. Maybe in 5 yrs I'll reconsider. For now I''ll go with the trusted and proven diesel SUVS.

@@Liriqos Pessimism? Range anxiety is real. Bakit? Wala pa ang infrastructure to support it. Kung EV lng ang kotse hindi ka maka byahe ng malayo.

brother the car comes as extended.. it takes petrol and drives for >1200km!!! I use them in Africa and we have zero (ok very little) electricity. we just sell the car with solar panels.. how many do you need $2000 or so and a charger. done!
