The thing she doesn't mention is that she took all of Source Music's trainees for her group and went to make her own label but also Source needed the new group because GFriend disbanded so they were left with nothing. She is the reason that Source debuted a girl group before her. They needed money coming in. She took her sweet time starting a label before her group debuted. Every day something new happens that she has said or done that is highly unethical and Hybe is just holding out hope the courts are ethical enough to kick her to the curb.

let's also mention that the SK gvmt was holding enlistment over bts's heads for years, debating on the topic if they deserve to be exempt or not, even trying to create new rules that would allow bts to take leave from their service for certain amount of days to practice, perform, attend shows and promote the military ministry, but the income from said activities would go to the ministry as well because enlisted citizens are not allowed to have a side income while serving. basically wanted to force them to BOTH serve and do music, so the soft power of SK doesn't die in the meantime. the circus continued up until bts released an official statement that they will be enlisting by their own choice according to their personal schedules and proceeded to enlist within a year. so all in all, all of us are very much hoping that after bts finish serving duty to the country they will be affected less by the pressure of the gvmt as bts rapped with their whole chest in cypher pt.3 which they decided to perform on that free concert in Busan held for expo promotion, "shoveling my career to bury me, but I don’t care. you can’t control my shit. i came back as a ninja who overcame the distrust"

And when BTS wanted to enlist in 2022, the govt needed them to promote Busan for the World Expo going so far as to ask Jimin's dad to persuade him. BTS had to prepare and pay for the concert venue out of pocket, leveling the ground, creating a safe space for ARMY to attend. I'm counting down to Jindependence Day!

Now we have these smear campaigns still going on and the govt wont lift a finger to look into it no matter how much they used BTS. All of these media sites posts misinformation without any corrections or fixes yet they get away with it and leave the public to think incorrect information. And it looks worse when additional things are reported. It feels like BTS is being punished for taking things into their own hands. Notice how easily the governent hand out exemptions after BTS left despite the persons doing much less and having way less global impact. Suddenly 1 gold medal is enough but creating milestones within a global industry that even the biggest Western artists haven't achieved wasn't enough.

@@AJP.OT7 well it's not good and fair behaviour to claim something is your idea, but once again you can't legally accuse of plagiarism over things like vibe or style. in court plagiarism is defined as violation of copyright or theft of intellectual property. both mean that the victim has to own rights on something they have created. in nj case, illit and other rookies would have had to do something like using nj music in their own without crediting nj and obtaining approval (like how bts were able to release born singer officially only because they were given rights by the original artist). similarity alone is not proof of plagiarism and claiming you had the idea first also isn't, similar creative inspiration may occur simultaneously in two or more people and that's recognized by court. unless there's a direct violation of rights ofc

But that would take at least a year to set up a label from scratch (hire the staff and transfer Nwjs from Source M to Ador) and HYBE needed a new gg asap. So they created Lesserafim as quickly as possible because Source really needed a new group to debut asap. Asian Entertainment and Culture has a few vids about the situation. But since the first trail is right now we are getting more evidence. MHJ is trying to stop HYBE from voting her of the CEO position of ADOR by saying they are not allowed to be there - they own 80% of ADOR. NJ is the secod HYBE girlgroup because she wanted her own label ADOR and the creation took time. She also took "the best" trainees from Source Music and quiet a few of their employees. Big Hit people - I think - where transfered into Source Music. But the creation of NJ was awhile in the making. It's quiet possible that it had something to do with Source Music giving up on renewing the contract with GFriend. (I think MHJ may have wanted to have the "only" HYBE girlgroup) Source Music was left without an active artist, good trainees, quiet a bit of personal and money. To that comes that seeing an opportunity HYBE had signed 2 former IZONE members. They needed a group and as such deputed Le Sserafim first while the creation of ADOR (and more training for NJ) took time for the launch of their group. It's complicated. The one paying for it are a lot of the artists: especially NJ, Illit (and Le Sserafim) Belift is sueing ADOR/MHJ btw for the defamtion/libel.

Kpop's main priority is not music. They care about so many other (useless) things before they will care about your music. That's y Koreans separate "k-pop"(they call it idol music over there) from korean artists. I think a way to look at how the Korean general public views the difference is that idols(what west call kpop artists) r more like performers who have to look and act a certain way to appeal to their target audience(younger generation) 30:23 when u said USD, i nearly fell off my bed in laughter. At her press conference, MHJ played out a fantasy for Korean office workers who have to take all kinds of crap from their bosses (including physical punishment), bow their heads and apologize. For three hours they could indulge in the spectacle of an "employee" going up against her "boss," raging against a "slave contract." And Project 1945 is named for the year Korea gained its independence from the Japanese imperial colonization which is going to push some emotional buttons. This ingrate received preferential treatment unparalleled within Hybe and then had the gall to call her contract a "slave contract"?! And she's trying to downplay all the evidence of her machinations in private Kakao Talk text messages (avoiding the HYBE in-house messaging app) as jokes, saying ppl aren't understanding the Ador-style humor, yet refusing to return her company-issued electronic devices in the course of an audit. Shady much? She's trying to accuse HYBE of the seven cardinal sins while she's the one that's (morally) guilty of them. The societal pressure in SK for a woman, especially a person in the public eye, to be well-dressed with immaculate make-up outside of her home is high. The lack of make-up, as if she'd never even heard of BB cream, left her cheeks shiny. And the blue cap gave her fake shadows under her eyes as if she'd not been able to sleep for days for the sheer distress/unfairness. There were no genuinely heartfelt tears. She just lifted her cap to show off her "sad" face every so often. And those mismatched, cheap-looking clothes with the messy hair? She looked like she'd just been dumped by her bf over the phone and stumbled in the wrong door on her way to her neighborhood convenience store to buy beer and soju so that she could cry into a bowl of bibbimbap once she got back home -- as long as you didn't pay attention to her two lawyers sitting there. Just look at her photos when she's not giving a practical lesson on Emotional Manipulation 101. And she fits right in with the Big 3 whose CEOs always make their groups about themselves in a never-ending ego trip. MHJ's first and foremost a concept creator, but none of her concepts are original. Afaik her groups last seven years max. Then it's rinse and repeat with fresh cannon fodder. Even the name of NJ's fandom appropriates Jung Kook's nickname, Bunny. MJH wants to talk about broken promises and stealing? Oh, girl, baby girl, don't even play! How about her demand she gets the OG trainees for Le Sserafim to create her gg? For whatever reason HYBE reportedly greenlit that. Source Music had spent their money on T&D but was out of trainees ready to debut as a consequence. They needed to make money to stay afloat. If MHJ were such a genius, a) she wouldn't have needed to pilfer another label's trainees, and b) after getting their trainees, it wouldn't have mattered that the other gg went first, because she'd have been confident in her group's success. These wide-ranging (and imo baseless) accusations of everybody and their uncle copying her reek of projection. Wanna discuss cultural achievements? Let's talk BTS, shall we? And MJH portraying herself publicly as the mother of NJ when she's actually a 40-something SINK (which could've been held against her at the presser as not meeting societal expectations like "Why isn't she married and having kids?") seemed calculated to pull the general public on her side. However, it doesn't hold water when there's evidence that she fat shamed the members and complained about how much she hates looking after these minors while apparently manipulating the girls and their parents. If the members and parents had sat this battle out on the sidelines, they would've come out unscathed with a future at HYBE. For now it looks as if NJ is on their way to become the next fifty-fifty. There are more pieces to the puzzle, but this comment is an essay as it is. We'll get a court ruling by the 31st before the shareholders' meeting. I have a preferred outcome, but we're going to have to hang on until then. And once Jin is a civilian again, he's allowed to speak up. But before that I'm getting ready to stream RM's rpwrp album. People in the industry thought with BTS in the military, they could take advantage of their absence and push their acts. But unfortunately for them, the guys had prepared so much material in advance and ARMY is charting their back catalog (e.g. Spring Day), so it very much looks like someone is playing dirty to tear them down.

It was necessary. They can't rely on BTS forever. That is how the world/real life works. So they used the money for investment and stabilization. That allows a lot of people to have a job, earn well, create a family and have a good life. It also allows the members to be safe and earn well, too. (and protect their families) Your position is a very priviliged position in this case. It was easier but was it really better? They got a lot of hate back than. And it is not NJ's fault that MHJ thought them easily to manipulate.

The way the South Korea media and the South Korean government treats BTS makes me sick. And what is wrong with the korean citizens?? But it's not that surprising taking in mind all the things that have happened before like the Tablo situation, and also considering the fact they are consuming all type of rumors, fake news and headlines downplaying BTS' success. What frustrastes me the most and makes me sad is the fact that all the BTS' members can't defend right now, they are serving South korea and despite all the money are recognition they have brought, their country is literally turning their backs at them. They are being ignored at home once again and it's so heartbreaking. 💔 We can't deny that these type of comments, news and articles don't affect them, they have spoken about it many times. So, it's essential for armys to aggressively support the guys and show some love. Let's reaussure the tannies that we believe them and that we are here for them. We will not give up and we will keep shutting haters mouths and fight against injustice just as Bangtan has done since the beginning of their careers. 💜 I hope this video motivates more armys to support harder every solo or BTS project.

I don't think the big 3 kpop labels necessarily work together, since they are also in competition with each other, but they are far more established in the korean entertainment/media business landscape than Hybe is. Thanks to BTS, Hybe is "new money" so to speak, so they've finally, grudgingly been allowed a spot in that space, but no matter how much money they have, in some ways they still can't compete with the "old money" of the big 3 and the connections and respect that comes with.

@@musicbox6144 Are you familiar with the expressions old money/new money? It's a reference to high society, and there's always been a difference between them. New money might start being able to rub shoulders with old money because money is money, but that doesn't mean they get the same respect or treatment because they haven't been part of high society long enough. They don't have the same connections and they're looked down on for rising by different rules. So that's what I was making a comparison to. Hybe has started making connections yes (realistically that's probably why they brought MHJ on), but they're still new and not yet comparable to the networks the big 3 would have built over the years.

Of course they are “in competition with each other”, but there’s a popular saying that goes “The enemy of my enemy is my friend”. So it’s highly plausible (and probable) that they would deliberately team up against the company they first saw as an annoying “intruder” and later as a threat to their long-held positions as soon as news of HYBE’s internal conflict signaled a “weak spot” they could help make worse.

The oldest BTS member Jin will discharge from His military duties next month on June 12, one day before BTS Anniversary as group which was on June 13, We Army's BTS Fandom always do something for our 7 BTS Guys on their Anniversary date and their Birthdays on KZbin videoes projects, But Jin is coming home soon next month on June 12, He went in first to join military on December 2023 by himself because He was the oldest member who have to go first join in military for 18 months 👨‍✈️ so yea Jin will be back soon and He will drop His Solo album soon either next months in July or August 2024, but very soon from our charming Mr Worldwide Handsome "Jin.. 🥰💜👑 Than it be BTS JHOPE next to get out to go home, and be discharged from his military duties soon, and He will do more solo music and completed variety shows and more, but yea! the rest of BTS members would come home to finish their military next year in June 2025, BTS JHOPE will get out in month October before Thanksgiving and Christmas, New year 2025.

Min copied 32:36 the Mexican group JEANS. So it's a bit hypocritical. Big Hit was deep in debt for years. The reason they pioneered so many innovative marketing strategies because they could not afford traditional ones. For instance hiring a holiday house for a week and sending a skeleton crew to film In The Soop, Is cheaper than to pay for a traditional promotional campaign. The big 3 have groups that their fans collaborated on hate campaigns against BTS. We cannot prove that the companies are behind anything. RM collabed with Tablo.

Frankly? I don't think BTS cares. K-Army/Army is traumatized from way back and does care. The members? They notice, go back to their military activities and let their lawyers handle it. Why should they care? They are not active and do not have to respond. They were already during the press conference from Map of the Soul: Persona dismissive of a "plagarizing attack". In 2018 (?) it was different because this was also about if they wanted to renew contracts with Big Hit or if they had enough. They are also no longer "small" like in 2015/2016. This is not their first rodeo and this time they have top lawyers than can and do get these stuff from social media. People are being fired and sued. The ones hurt the most are the younger/newer groups like NJ themselves, Illit, TWS and Le Sserafim. But also Seventeen and TXT and even Zico get attacked. It sends fans of one artist against fans of other artists. Which shows how easily manipulated some people are. Attacking MHJ (or Park Ji-Won and Bang if you believe her at least partially) would make more sense.

I don't think it is specific NAVER doing it. (They are a* but...) I think she paying for "black marketing" which she funnily accused HYBE of doing. Regardless of that her words ARE a manipulation: name dropping e.g. New Jeans, NJ members, their parents, multiple artists. She talks about how individual underage NJ members (she even name drops who) cry for her and want to go to her to care for her. HYBE statements say "the artist" and when they have to a groupname. HYBE does not argue with emotions about facts/evidence. Court is interesting to watch. Belift is sueing Ador/MHJ and a lot of HYBE employees have made statments in court, too, after she pushed for statements from people in her label, the members and people she worked with. Some interpretations are so wild.

I'm very glad you watched this because right now the kpop world & korean public are hyper focused on the drama MHJ is causing, crying about this person did this or that to me while it's all to distract from the very serious and illegal acts she has been engaging in. She had a step by step hostile take over plan, also Hybe has evidence that MHJ planned to damage Hybe's reputation way before Illit even debuted to accuse them of anything, they just debuted March 25 this year. They have documents about her plans going back to Feb 4th. We've not even heard half of what evidence Hybe apparently has on her as they only met 1 day so far in court, the reveal of the "foreign investors" she met with being Naver & Dumamu was a shock to people cuz that's extremely shady & considering they told Hybe cuz they wanted to do everything on the up and up legally so as not to be in trouble which proves she was lying during her press conference cuz then she said "what foreign investors, show me these supposed investors". Also she is the one who brought it before the press in that conference up until that point Ador was being audited and everything was being investigated internally still.

The thing is that Mon Heejin is throwing a bunch of idols names knowing the amount of hate they will received, she's using them and even her own group just as a shield bc they have noting to do with the legal and business accusations of why all this started in the same place . I get her side of claiming ILLIT is copying NewJeans bc of some things look similar but let's be honest, that's nothing new in kpop and there're a lot of proves that the styles, concepts and choreos of Njs are not original too so her trying to avoid the situation adding more things like that while contradicting her actions is like... This is why I never liked the idea of bang pd creating Hybe, it should’ve stayed just bighit. When you become a powerful force in the entertainment industry you will get more enemies and people trying to take you down, in this case min heejin saw the bts is Hybe’s biggest money maker so she thought that to take down Hybe and have ador all to herself, she would need to take down bts first. Then when she got caught, she tried to justify herself by claiming other groups are copying the group she created. Now it has backfired because min heejin got exposed for copying a Mexican girl group, jpop girl groups, other female kpop girl groups and black artists when it comes to choreography, concept, and even group name. She claimed everyone was copying new jeans when she turned out to be a hypocrite, it looks like bts karma has striked and will continue to strike because min heejin just got another lawsuit by ILLIT’s label. It’s a shame that the members had to see their image be ruined by the media and min heejin talk badly about them when she worked with taehyung for his album 😐

Well what they were trying to do by creating Hybe separating it from Big Hit is diversify their money coming in as to not be solely dependent on BTS as they knew they would have to leave for the military. Hybe has many subsidiaries not just music labels but things like gaming & media (producing documentaries etc), the idea also was to separate BTS & Big Hit from being a huge target if they had other companies doing well making good income BTS would be seen as less of a threat it would shift the focus or target to Hybe instead and maybe not even their music division specifically. But what ended up happening is BTS is still their main income source despite all the different companies and efforts they made to diversify. And the kpop industry is really not very profitable (as you can see the big 3 have their hands in multiple cookie jars as well like television & media etc) only BTS has been extremely profitable by comparison. And the korean media because BTS makes so much money they are still the same target for k-media & the big 3 they've always been, to them Hybe = BTS & BTS = Hybe in their eyes because they make the bulk of the profit despite efforts to make things more balanced. And frankly I think people underestimate how petty these people are against BTS & that they it seems will never let it go ever their goal was to have BTS disband or ruined it hurts their pride that with all the money & power they have the can't get rid of them. What's crazy is they benefit the most off BTS and know that too by claiming it's kpop's achievements when it's only BTS. They ride their coat tales but yet bite the hand that feeds them.

Kpop has a long record for cooping the concepts that just how that industry works bcs its over saturated, but suddenly MHJ wants to act like thats a new thing and blame HYBE. I doubt it. SM is struggeling at the moment quiet a bit. They have lost up to 70 employees a month. Quiet a few artists have not renewed or make side-labels for "individual activities". ... I don't know what you just wrote there. What I can understand seems like BS. If NJ leaves HYBE they will likely fail, just like the members of Fifty Fifty that left. They would loose their name. Bang would rather produce music than be involved in this drama... and he does: He wrote for TXT, Enhypen, Le Sserafim and has his hands in all of Illit's debut songs. There is no label coming up riviling HYBE. HYBE just became a conglomerate officially. They are one of the most innovative companies worldwide regardless of subject. If you want to understand how small the other labels are you should watch some of "Asian Entertainment and Culture"'s new video essays.

She has delusions of grandeur from way back. She believes that when she was in SM even though she worked only on girl groups but HYBE stole the BTS band type from her even though they (HYBE) didn't know her. Then when she came to HYBE to "start" a girl group she went to Source Music and STOLE girls from the audition then said no I want to start my own agency then Ill start a girl group. So she expected everyone to stop what they were doing, so she could sign all the paperwork for a new company, to sign all the girls then get them ready then she could debut her girl group New Jeans. In the mean time Source Music was like yeah you took those girls but these girls are great too so we will start our girl group while she is off doing her thing. Source Music being the company she should have been working for to start a new girl group felt slighted so they just ran with the group Le Seraphim and they are good. Now miss ADOR over in the upper floor of HYBE and is pissed because no one waited on her not only that but that's too bad. In the mean time BE:LIFT decides to get a girl group of their own and makes a brand new audition gets 5 more girls and starts a group a little after New Jeans debuts (please don't come after me) I know New Jeans debuted in 2022 and the audition was held in 2023 but they did not suddenly grab all those girls it took them time to find all those girls so they started in 2022. They were not worried about New Jeans because she had just come and and guess what I love New Jeans but a fresh face is a fresh face and young girls are young girls there can be no copyright on young fresh faced girls ... please. BTS could not do payola because they did not have the money in those days. They did not have money until 2018 not when they were accused in 2015. Their audience in the US, in Canada, in S. America in the UK, Europe, in E. Europe their fans are there. They refuse to even go to award shows that use money to buy awards like VMAs.

@@VAngel876 Her job is and always was branding/helping to create an image. Which is why NJ look more like an SM group now than a HYBE group. SM was known for micromanaging their artists including e.g. possibly telling an Idol "not to smile" because that is against their image. Think of her as a movie director: they don't write the story (make the music), they direct the artist and decide what kind of clothes they wear and what they need to portray. Which is why "simliar clothes" and hair color and gestures mean so much to her - when most people don't care. Since she branded boygroups, too, she may have really thought BTS is copying her branding. That said - I agree - she is "a bit" crazy.

Believe there there is so much more to MHJ accusations than we were not told about and her antics. She is making it bad for other females in power and is a bad example. I know this will make some people upset but, BTS is HYBE and HYBE is BTS you can't have just one without the other.

I think the ajumma already ruined the working relationship between NJ and Hybe. The lady did not waste her time grooming the girls' mentality and managed to get them to take sides in a war that did not concern them and, now, they will have to face the consequences.
