I use an ifixit set. Honostly who needs a ratcheting screwdriver to build pc's when you can spin it in your fingers, ratchets are big and bulky making it difficult to get in tight areas.
@charmzee87493 күн бұрын
They are good to have for tight spots where you can’t quite use a normal one. You can move just a tiny bit and it still works. I prefer ratcheting wrenches and screwdrivers over anything nowadays, they make things a tad faster and more convenient for all the things. You don’t need one, it’s just a comfort item for 99% of the buyers.

Honestly a good business model would be to just make a ztt computer assembly set. Sell it like they do on product tear downs. I’ve had a pc building kit my parents bought me 25 years ago and I use it every week around the house. I have a set I bought 7 years ago for $14 and has every bit you need for PC and phone repair. Sure it may not be the highest quality out there, but it offers more utility at less than a quarter of the price, and it does the job perfectly right. Built several PCs with it. However, if you're building PCs for a living, then a high quality driver will make a ton of difference because it'll speed things up dramatically, and in such cases time is money so the driver pays for itself. It's really depends on your use case

@annieworroll4373Күн бұрын
I was on a tight budget and bought one anyways... It's definitely expensive, but it really is extremely good. I've seen some side by sides and it even holds up against the more expensive Snap On equivalent. And barring dropping it from a silly height(rolling off the table you're building on it can handle fine), the thing is quite sturdy, so if you're a bit clumsy as long as you're not like on a roof and drop it onto concrete it might even save some money in the long run compared to cheaper ratcheting drivers.

In all fairness that Milwaukee driver is only bout 30 bucks rn but there's still cheaper options Milwaukee is definitely not a budget brand, and you could spend ten more dollars on a set from a cheap brand called strebito that features 2 drivers (1 precision 1 with storage in handle) both with interchangeable bits (120 different precision bits, 44 1/4 hex bits) in all the styles you'd ever encounter and plenty durable for basic electronic work ive personallly used their kit for repairing consoles phones and my laptop, aswell as useing one of the 1/4 bits in a drill to take apart a deck for repair
