When it comes to book borrowing I'll let people borrow books. If it's a special edition,signed, or has sprayed edges....I'll be more than happy to take you to the bookstore and buy you your own copy. I'm always looking for reasons to go to the bookstore, so its valid 😅

I am definitely a poly reader and mood reader. I will for sure DNF a book so fast if the first 50 pages haven’t captured me or kept me somewhat interested, I have way too many books I want to read to stay stagnant 😂

It honestly doesn’t even take 50 pages for me to figure out if I will continue reading the book. My problem is once i’ve invested time into the book and maybe it took a turn. That’s when i have a hard time not finishing it.

My books are my babies too...I hate when people don't take care of what they borrow. Because of this, only a limited few people are allowed to borrow my books. 🍁

🍁I tend to read a lot of Biographies, Fiction and Nonfiction. I am reading now, BEING HENRY by Henry Winkler. In my list are Jennifer Grey, Patrick Swayze, Reba McEntire, Matthew Perry, and Ina Garten. I love reading the middle of February and have just a few days in between that I have not read anything. I have read 28 books since the middle of February and not done with the year yet. My goal was 24 in 2024...I guess I just flew by that one. Great watching your videos. 💗

I usually have multiple books going at the same time (audiobook, physical book (1 or 2) and an ebook). I borrow from the library but my preference is to purchase books because then there is no rush to read the book by a due date and plus I just love books. Like you I wanted to be someone who loans out books but I can't handle it. I have loaned out a book a couple of times and each time it made me anxious. I will purchase the book for the person instead of loaning it to them. I do not dogear my books, I use a bookmark or a piece of pa[er to mark where I am in the book.

bookmarks are a must! could never dog ear a book 🥺 And I always feel rushed when I check out physical library books!! I’m the worst turning them in on time.

Closing the book without knowing the page number???😅. I would have to set the book upside down while I scrambled or found something to write the page number on and then that thing/napkin, receipt would become the book mark. I have dog earred a few pages on my used dime store paper backs eons ago. These days I shop for cool book marks and a keep a few handy for just the occasion. Thanks for sharing ❤

🤣😂 i never have to actually close the book without a bookmark. I always use place one in the book when i start a new read. If I had to choose though between dog ear and just closing the book i’m never going to dog ear it 🤣🤭

I’m not opposed to using different objects as long as they don’t damage the book. I’ve used bobby pins and hair ties plenty of times. They always seem to be around. 🤣

How do you say no when they ask to borrow a book though? 🤔 I’m usually really good about telling people no but it just caught me off guard so I had to give her something. It’s honestly the first time anyone has ever really asked me.
