I love bo6 and I guess I’ve been really lucky not to run into most of the issues I see people complaining about. My ping is usually low, I don’t run into lots (though some) of cheaters in ranked. And the experience for me has been extremely positive. I’ve grinded to dark matter and master prestige for the first time in years in a cod game. I’m not shilling for activision or says they aren’t dropping the ball in so many ways, just that I haven’t really experienced it. I really hope that everyone else’s experience improves and they get to enjoy bo6 the same way I have.

personally i’m trying to keep my head high on BO6 for once because i’ve actually had fun myself but that’s me. and i think reason why drop count otherwise besides rivals, is literally because the next season is basically a 2 week wait or probably 3(im not best at math) and if people are saying “game dry” it’s not it’s just bugs. another is a team of works who work in a certain department they must somehow still be out. but i think now we need to find something that will actually push back instead of delay the fixes. Cause there’s no way they should be trying to avoid changes and shelving bug fixes for next season. they don’t have the right to say we’re dedicated to our players and not have a fix. this year kinda i made my new year’s resolution not to believe everything a company says if they do not prove themselves truly. so far treyarch has unfortunately been then and sadly thats it. but for now we just need to be patient supposedly and cope with it.

What I find extremely infuriating is the priority. Between server crashes, bugs and game crashes I‘ve never had a single day where I didn‘t have to restart the game or zombies map because something not working. But what are the updates? Additional mtx with prices that don‘t warrant the micro anymore. Nerfs to directed mode. And the things that do get fixed is f-ing emote spam on the endscreen and fun glitches in zombies. Got shadow banned for calling in to many scorestreaks in that new squid games event. Im a legit player, ive never cheated, and never will. I however was going off with that hand canon in that squid game mode and was able to call in dreadnought and chopper gunner every match. After about 2 days of going off, i get a temporary ban. I cant appeal or do anything. Now im stuck in lobbies with legit cheaters every match. How are they even still playing the game, and someone who dosnt cheat get a shadow ban and gets stuck in these lobbies. Its so broken. Ive never played call of duty before this game. Ive been loving it, but the cheater problem and now being shadow banned might be it for me. Really sucks

I’m not even as good as you, and I got shadowbanned last month.. same deal. I had to wait 7 days. All I was doing was headshots for camos. During this time, I think they further investigate your gameplay to determine whether you are truly cheating. If you are, you will be progressed to temporary or permanent ban. If not, then the “limited matchmaking” will be completely lifted.

I jumped into MW2019 during Season 3 and played until Cold War came out. CW felt like a massive step back in gameplay, animations, sound design, graphics... and I dropped it after a few weeks. Now, years later, I have bought BO6 to play with my friends. The core game is enjoyable but the biggest issue, to me, is the connection quality. I play on PS5 and on ethernet, I get 3 ping, 0% packet loss and occasional lag. On wifi, however, it is unplayable. I get 12 ping but insane unplayable lag. No other game I own has this issue. It feels like the online infrastructure is held together by duct tape and a dream.

I subbed to Game Pass for one month to try out BO6 on PC in December. I played for about 2 weeks and then cancelled my subscription with no plans to purchase the game. I hate being down on games and want them to succeed, but BO6 has some issues. It's still the only game I routinely run into netcode/network issues (XDefiant is an honorable mention). The cosmetics are the focus of the game and have been for awhile. Matchmaking is amess. We all know the issues. Sad to see the game that was supposed to be an actual return to form be such a letdown. Hopefully Battlefield's reboot will save us from the AAA FPS slop, but I won't hold my breath.

Personally this has been the best cod (to me, please remember that lol) since black ops 3. I got the game almost on release and I have been enjoying it. However, there are way too many issues with the game such as networking and server connections and yes my internet isn’t the best but this is the first game in a long time where I have had way too much buffering and bouncing and even lagging. On top of that they need to fix a lot of things in the zombies too such as giving us an actual offline or solo mode to where we don’t need to worry about internet to actually play the game without the same issues mentioned above affect solo play and I know that this is all just a small piece of the greater issues but for me personally even the networking fixes would mean a great deal to me. But I do also have to agree with everyone else that they are caring more about the monetary side of the game then the actual issues everyone keeps bringing up. I’ve done the math and for the new event of you want to buy everything that has been released and possibly will, you are looking to spend £65+ for just the squid game stuff which is to me outrageous that we “have” to spend almost the same amount as we did for the game (and yes I do know you don’t have to buy any of this content, believe me I’m not and won’t be but that’s not the point), I know a lot of this isn’t down to treyarch and more to Activision but the lack of communication even about known issues and when to hope a fix is coming is not good for a game that released in October… end of rant, I’m sorry it was so long but I had to get that out

After having dealt with BO6’s issues since launch and thought it was ok but then S01 WZ integration…. It fell a part and much worse than ever. So much so I’ve done back to play MW2019 and Cold War… games I genuinely actually had fun in and many memories with both. MWIII from last year is proving how solid and great it is, so I’ve gone back to that game too. Treyarch maybe heading into the reputation space of IW sadly but proving that SHG can make decent COD’s these days. Just my opinion though

"Black Ops 6 needs help." They can literally help themselves. But they don't listen. I quit awhile ago already (hopped on like 5 weeks ago, played 3 matches, and that was the last time). It's the matchmaking. I'm not going to go into it because most people know what's wrong with it (more and more coming out). That on top of everything you mentioned, it's not fun! At all. Some of it goes hand in hand with the matchmaking system.

Is it a great game though? Can you call it a great game when the maps are awful, the gun play is average (there is little variety, low recoil, snipers terrible etc etc), the camo grind is boring, sound design is poor. I uninstalled the game, I wasn't enjoying it at all... If I need to scratch the COD itch, I go play MW3, it's just more fun.

Cheaters everywhere, crashing and error issues on pc, terrible hit detection, insane amount of dlc gauging customer for every dollar they can while still only being in season 1 this game feels dead already :/ they barely give us anything for free and double xp events don’t even track properly. Like u said the perfect way to put it is that the store always works bc they want u spending more money first.

In my opinion COD needs to stop releasing games every year, recently the games feel unfinished maybe if they take more time to create a stable game they can focus more on the creative things as seasons and blueprints when the game is released, it looks like they can’t fix big problems and keep the seasons running at the same time. Also they have more time when the game is released to fix little bugs and inperfections. If a COD game is good i don’t need another one a year later let me just get good at the game and build memories with it. Sad to see that the game is in this state…

I am a casual player and I am fed up! Every match the servers are god dam awful and you are getting constantly hit with packet loss and lag! Spawns are god dam f*cking awful, SBMM is awful! The core game is so good as well but its just unplayable

Ghost hasn't worked correctly SINCE LAUNCH and no one is talking about it and just saying that vigilance is bugged and it is completely wrong. Ghost works about a quarter of the time and the other 3/4 of them it doesn't work even moving constantly throughout the entire life cycle of UAV's and such

No, and for abundant clarity, it's none towards absolutely anyone. Just a mention for my own content to touch on comments like "why don't you ever talk about X" before they happen. I've said my piece on stuff like this each year and I just don't feel like I contribute anything of value to the discussion if I'm making a video on every single complaint there is. I'm lucky enough to have made some connections that I can pass feedback along directly and relay concerns I've seen. On the public side (IE these videos), I've found saying my constructive piece once is enough, saying it over and over muddies your message and you lose the parties willing to listen. So, if I'm not enjoying what I'm playing, I'll just move on to something else

The player count is down, but what about the sale of microtransactions? In the end that's the only metric that matters. I like the idea of bundles, I can guarantee that the "profits" will not be used to upgrade servers, anti cheat, fix bugs, etc.!, their formula is not broken, in the contrary their revenue and stocks keep going up! The quality of the game might improve if the player base forces them to do so, low engagement and low bundle purchases?
