Sanke Koi Fish selection [Best out of 20 Koi]

Have you ever wondered on what details a Sanke Koi Fish is selected? In this video we will guide you through the selection of twenty Sanke and give you every single detail we select them on. This super long video will give you a very detailed description on which characteristics you should look for and what is good or bad on a Sanke.
Key aspects we look for on Sanke start with looking at the body posture, skin quality and the patterns on the Sanke. A good Sanke should have a nice Kohaku pattern, which are the red markings visible on the skin. If you try to visualize for yourself how the Sanke will look like if it was a kohaku, so you remove all the black from it, then it should still be a nice Koi fish. A Sanke is in the end a Kohaku with a white base with red markings on it and then on top of it black markings.
By watching this video you will know exactly what details you should look for when you are next time in your local Koi store to find the perfect Sanke.

The very last Two out of the Four Sanke you kept is the nicest out of the Twenty Sanke, which are still acceptable for taking home for your own Pond but a bit of important key factors that were not there. Odo and the Three Step on them, would have been really nice. But like you said, that is the Problem when choosing Koi in Europe it is what the breeders choose for us to make them more affordable. Like 101 is now up! 😊👍

You got all the facts wrong. The sanke is not a sanke when there is black on the pectoral fins.
