For years at gigs, I often steered away from requests for a cat balloon to suggest tiger balloon animals. While there is a simple, single balloon animal cat that can be made in approximately the same time as a dog balloon animal, I always thought that it was lacking and didn't adequately evoke or represent a cat. This version of a cat balloon animal is the first that I've encountered- aside from a large and complicated balloon animal cartoon-style cat that takes five or more balloons - that competently represents a cat. I think that this cat balloon animal does just as good of a job at represnting a cat as a dog balloon animal evokes a dog.
There is just something about a cat balloon animal that appeals to kids as well as adults. I think that it's just that the cat makes an ultra-cute balloon animal.
