Yeah, I was ready to disagree with the Chief Mk.5 but you're right. It could get a beginner dart as a tier 4 modification but it just straight up doesn't, and it's slow, and the armour only saves you half of time in downtiers.

Stug III It is so easy to get penetrated by your front armor with a KV1 and if you tracks are broken or if your engine caught on fire you cannot shoot since you can't move when repairing or putting out a fire.

I hate the low tier British and Japanese meds. They litterly have no pen. You can choose the shell that has most pin, and not pin a paper armor TD at several meters. Quite frustrating isn't it.

The Stormer HVM has to be the most frustrating tank for me. I've managed to do great in it in some matches, and after playing it for a while I learnt of an interesting feature it has. On some maps, the missile don't turn until they've traveled about 3km. Has to be one of the more interesting vehicle bugs I've ever seen.

Great video, however I disagree, the Cheiftain MK5 isn't meta but its still decent at 8.7. Its a bit boring to play, hopefully it goes back down to 8.3 it was pretty fun there. Or Gaijin could just give the Cheiftain Mk5 its l23 APFSDS and keep it at 8.7

barely decent vs good it's still a bad spot, you can make it work, i make it work, but at that point i can just play anything else that it's objectively better or go to 8.3 and play the mk3, this tank it's only at 8.7 because gaijin still thinks it's armor is as reliable as back in the day and because mostly only veteran players use it

I guess the chieftain Mk3 must somehow be very different to the Mk7 since I’ve found the Mk3 to have both really good armour and a round can easily 1-shot even the most spaced out of crews and I’ve always found it easy to aim.

Chieftain Mk5 is 8.7, the Mk3 is 8.3, in the stat card, the only difference I see os that the mk5 has like 10hp more than the Mk3, I never played the mk5 tho.

Idk about the T95E1, I've played a lot of battles in it (most back before the M60A1 was 8.0 though) I always felt that it was quite snappy, the transmission really made up for the engine, and while the long reload was annoying I always played it in a way where I did quite well in it. Oviously I don't expect people to play it just becuase some random guy said it's good, but 298 battles in and I certainly wouldn't call it bad or even frustrating.

@@lordtachanka6489 Don't have either of those, but I can say that the PTL O2 is undertiered, and back when I used to play the T95E1 a lot the T-55 was 8.3, but since it is similar to the M60A1 I understand it being 8.0, and while the T95E1 is worse than these it isn't unplayable in any way.

The ARL 44 (the 5.3 one) takes the crown for me, it's like a panther but worse in every way, moreover it tilts me because it should not be this bad, gaijin refused to listen to documented bug reports from primary sources again for a french vehicle

Its pretty great. 215mm of penetration. And nobody plays france anyways, so german players have no idea where are your weakspots. They usually aim for the hull and fail terribly

It’s not a panther, it’s a heavy tank which should be used as a flanking sniper. Do not play it like a panther or heavy.

Ariete PSO/War. When i started playing Italy, it had best APFSDS in game at relatively low BR (10.3) and there was no overperforming soviet armor, no Relikt, no T-80BVM. Now everyone has at least as good or better top APFSDS and whole italian lineup got uptiered to 10.7 (which is basically equall to 11.0 because of insane oversaturation at top tier) and even if you get a 10.7 match it will be agains soviet 10.7 which is far more potent than italian one. Ariete is also second slowest top MBT + no armor + ammo rack literally in it's center of mass. All of this made me lose any hope in Italian top tier. Well, at least their 8.7-9.3 is good...

Yeah the arietes were mean because of their firepower above 600mm but now every nation has at least 575mm pen as a topshell thus the ariete was power crept. They need to buff it somehow even if it's artificial like the british reload at toptier.

Yes this. The 2a6 actually started to kill the Italian top tree, before the 2a6c the Ariete was actually very good and a little overpowered if u knew how to use its shells.

Or atleast nothing that left prototype stage, its one of the main reasons why their tank corps are considered to be not that great, despite having some of the more sensible tanks within NATO

For me, the T-54 were the most frustrating Metal coffins I ever played... they have an good gun (if you don't run into something with decent armor) but they have about good enough mobility, meh armor that the most common gun, the Royal Ordnance 105mm L7, was DESIGNED to defeat and worse of all, terrible gun handling that would make a Inter war tank laugh at you... at BR where STABs and/Or very stable suspensions is so prevalent...Especially when the following vic is the hideously good T-55A...Give me a Chefie Mk 3 or T95E1 over that crap, at least they have decent armor and guns can pen crap without relying on the enemy being early NATO MBTs

For me, the M901. It’s a bother having to wait for the turret to turn back around. In addition, even though you won’t face enemies with it at that BR, TOW missiles are wire guided but somehow get stopped by IRCM.

Chieftain Mk.5 for me as well, while it is a tiny bit quicker than the Mk.3 I never understood how that is a thing which justifies putting it at 8.7 which means you'll be going up to 9.7 and we all know what tanks you can face at that br.

T-10A/M The armour is poor, the mobility is alright, the reload speed is poor, the armament is also poor as you have horrible reload speed and only the T-10M gets a round that can reliably kill a target. From my experience, if a tank has the capability to reliably kill/pen 80% or the targets from any or most angles, it is a good tank. The T-10 from my experience has no ability to do so, apart from the German tin cans, and even then if it bounces or doesn’t deliver enough damage, then you are done. It is like a BTEC T-34-85 when coming up against Tiger 2s and Panthers.

I have less issues about a tank, but more about a plane. The F 86F-25 is a US 8.7 jet, it has no missiles or flares, no after burner and your only offense is 6 50. Cals. It get anhilated by missiles and faster jets at this tier, the jet is meant to dogfight but that is hard because your pilot gets knocked out very quickly from excessive Gs. It is impossible to grind due to constant uptiers, even it's own tier it still sucks. Missiles, faster jets with afterburners, are its biggest problems. The plane is solid on paper, it just sucks in practice because of how rediculously high it's br is.

Yall ever played Russia 😄 3⁰ of gun depression on all tanks.... they could be fast but they have meh acceleration, ok rounds not better than any German round worst reload at their BR, MAX four crew easily one shoted sadly I know these from experience but usually if you lower their br they would do to well with OK armor.

Idk the mk5 is less frustrating to play cause we'll you feel superior in it, especially when you do well. It's more frustrating to think, why tf is this scrap heap a br above the mk3 for no in game difference and then 2 brs above of stuff like the T 55,and then you think why is it at the same br as modernised T 55's with APS. And then you think why did I grind the British tree, everything good it has gets changed up in 1 or 2 updates making its old fun brs pointless. Then you think why tf do I play this game, then you become enlightened and grind naval in particular the Royal navy which just has worse ships at a high br which are purely skill dependent to use and then you realise that doesn't matter cause are now welcoming of your masochistic tendencies. Why did I grind the British naval tree, its just worse than the other ones, only reason I do well its cause of well placed shots despite having Battleships which can be easily killed by destroyers cause somehow their single shell knows out 20% of you crew when it hits the 6 inch gun storage deck and that starts about 20 fires which has the possibility to detonate your main magazines about 4 stories below this area aft and forward of it, in fact it has a chance to do this before you can extinguish the fire even if you do it instantly but on the other hand somehow you ammo racking a Russian BB fucking twice is fine and despite the fact at one point 2 of its turrets were below the water it survived and you died to a DD through this exact method and something just blew up outside my window but that's OK cause its Ireland just a pipe bomb or something either way as I was saying yeah fuck this game and its bullshit nothing is fun the new update can suck my ass but I will abuse the Swedish tree now as it just gets a massive lineup of all the best vehicles in the game. Oh right yeah can Lancaster please get their big boy bomb,at least a 5 ton bomb even if its just a non bouncing bouncing bomb but a gram slam or tall boy would be nice please santa I've been a very good boy this year I even didn't doge my taxes this year jesus wtf is going on outside something else just blew

For me it is the stock m48 the thing has shit Armour and a crap apcr and hesh round and it will take a while to to get the HEAT-FS and because the Armour is quite weak you will most likely get 1 shotted for me i would rather play lowtier France that play this tank

The most frustrating tank for me is the German M48 since, EVEYONE KNOWS HOW TO DEAL WITH YOU, as any shot to the bottom left haul with detonate the ammo and any shot to the .50 cal turret will kill the turret crew.

The t95e1 would actually be a pretty nice countrrpart to the t55a if it was given a stabilizer like it had access to in real life, and the composite armor it also had, and had less dispersion like it also had in real life, and a more powerful engine... like it had in real life. Basically its artificially gimped by gaijin for no other reason than what I can only assume is Russian bias. I actually really like using it because it and the starship are the only tanks at American 8.0 that actually have a chance because of their armor still bring workable even if both are still leagues worse than the t55a and several others. The worst thing however is their horrendous repair cost because us American players aren't allowed to have a decent tank at that br range

Unfortunately, what you're talking about is a hodgepodge of the different T95 variants all mashed together. The T95 had the stabilizer and composite armor. The T95E1 had neither because it was a simplified, cheaper version of the T95. The T95E8,E9,E10,E11,E12 variants were all the variants with different but not necessarily better engines. And the E9 through E12 were never even built.

I agree with Pandramodo and Turney on the T95E1 its a horrible tank to play on 8.0 with no stabilizer, but for me its the Strv 81(RB-52)🇸🇪 its 7.3, okay but no, the real BR of that thing is 7.7, it always verse sht like T-55AM, WMA, PLT02, which are 8.0, with stab, APFSDS, and some of them has thermals, like wtf am i supposed to do? That thing is slow af and it has buggy antennas that gaijin will never be fixing, and yes it is indeed a premuim vehicle, which you buy with GE💀

Jpz 4-5 is way more effective at its BR range than the Chief because its faster, has better optics, better pen (with a smaller gun) and can hide better.

There is 1 tank i really dispise, that i loved previously before it's BR got unreasonabally changed, compared to other machines... The Churchill III. Speed? None. Armour? basically nothing against 90% of vehicles you face. Survivability? Gets 1 shot 99% of the time. Gun? Decent 57 MM with a quick reload, but no APHE filler, still kinda nice tho... It's the 1 redeeming factor the tank has, and i hope Gaijn will up-BR the Pz. IV's again...

The Ratel 20. First I wanted to choose the Ratel 90, but i just had a bad Time in it because I refused to bully Tiger IIs and spaded it on 8.0... so many Marders... No it's the Ratel 20. Very situational, can't pen a slightly angled BMP or Marder, Is a Oneshot for everything und is sluggish as fuck and as large as the Big Ben. I had only 3 Battles on very large maps where this thing performed wonderful, in CQB (which are 90%) battles it's just a useless fat target. You can't hide it, you can't run, you can't take a shot...

I quit warthunder because I was driving a Matilda. I shot a SPAA truck. Driver takes a 2pdr to the face and turns yellow. He shoots me with a .50bmg and one shots my whole crew. You know that .50bmg with 60mm armor pen.

definitely both of the T-64s, slow speed, no neutral steering, bad depression, no hull armour, br 9.3-9.7, turret armour is only effective against APFSDS (only some 105mm and 125mm APFSDS) and not HEAT, no mantlet armour, slow turret turn speed, a worse reload and shell angle performance than the Abrams, big ammo rack, auto loader only have 28 shells, gun lifting speed is horrible. the only good thing about it is that it's half as big as the ARL-44.

My List: PT(SD)-76B - Unreliable HEATFS, gets yeeted by .50 cals , slow ass reload and lets not talk about something Russians doesnt care about( Gun depression). M-51 : Unreliable shell (Assist Machine), long reload and gun bounce when comes to stop. i think M-51 has worst suspension/ gun whip in entire game, in my opinion

Most frustrating tank in War Thunder? BT-5/7. Reason 1: small, fast and agile. Its quick enough that it can ge tto cheeky spots at any br Reason 2. Their guns to me seem like they over perform (way more penetration than what the stat cards say) Reason 3. Their armor is hilariously Gaijin flavored. Im talking you could shoot at one of this bad boys with the DM-53 from a 2A6 and watch that 653mm of penetration skip off the upper plate and enter low orbit. Then the little monster just drifts to your side and punches a fist sized hole into your angled hull destroying you. Reason 4. Theres no minimum br requirement meaning you can take these vehicles to any BR AND IT STILL PERFORMS WAY TO WELL. Im homestly surprised they havent gotten Gaijined like the TA-152s with increased repair costs lol

Type 63 Pros -got a good 85mm gun that shoots HEATFS penetrating around 300mm -fast Cons -boxy as hell -turret moves much slower than the PT76 -thinn (easy to spot) -no nvgs -low scope magnification -yea

Sturer Emil and Jagdtiger88. Both very slow and extreme sluggish at urban terrain and hard get into the right position. While Sturer Emil has a nice advantage with his good gun depression, reload is extreme long and if RNGJesus doesnt onehit, your done. Non Pen on T-50 with 12,8 cm is an WTF moment. Your late in the battle get flanked from all sides and has an open top. JD88 with his nice frontal armor is to many tanks just paper, especial with the beloved uptier, ATGMS, HESH, and APDFS and gainst CAS you can do nothing. I love to play both and have a high kill/death ratio but man i need extra patients for them. Last but not least Brummbär, somehow overpressure works only on light ar no armor vehicles, I can hit a KV-1 3x times in the side only to see his tracks broken ?!?

Mine Is KV-85, It has like 90% of chance to get uptiered to 5.7 and meet with tigers and panthers with armour so thin that 3.3 vehicles can penetrate it, and mobility isn’t crazy, IS-1 and IS-2 at least have stronger upper plates but KV-85 Doesn’t, Maybe, If it gets Downtiered It could do more but it’s still very vulnerable. In one word, trash

My most frustrating tank is the Ozelot (I know it's an AA). When it first came out I was really excited because it sounded really cool on paper: a small, nimble AA with missiles...cool....but then I played this thing: - you can't properly shoot at Helis, - you need 4 missiles to score a safe kill, - you have no offensive armament....and I switched back to the good old Gepard.

The tank I found the most infuriating to play is the Sherman VC Firefly. It's a bad tank at a bad BR that will face Tigers most of the time. The gun, a Royal Ordinance 17pdr, is good against T-34s and Panzer IVs, but against Tigers and particularly Panthers it is not great. You will get Gaijinned, volumetric will eat your shells, and when you do penetrate you will have to peck away at your target for ages to kill it if they're a Panther or Tiger. The mobility is meh. The gun handling is terrible, it sways like a drunk, and it is an incredibly happy tank (no depression). I would honestly take a Panzer IV F2 to 6.3 than a Sherman Firefly to 5.3, I have done and I feel more capable.

Both Mk3 and Mk5 cheiftains need to be moved down, they're worse in every way to similar MBT's of other nations. Mk10 is atleast somewhat ok since it gets stillbrew and APDSFS, but imo could probably still do fine at 8.7

Have these guys ever play the STRV 103C?? "But you have armor!" Yes, armor, against a T55AMD/AM, T95E1, and other stuff with APFSDS that go threw you like butter, disables your gun/aiming system, kills crew and better yet the ammo is all stacked at the rear of the tank so you will get ammo racked. "BUT YOU HAVE A GOOD GUN!" That is horrible to aim, you cant get consistent shots when they are moving, you cant shoot while moving, you basically need to hope for a open map(or a downtier). If you need to aim at weakspots you are screwed since if you try to slightly move your gun it will go like 5 cm to the right, giving the other guy time to shoot at you, disable you, and you are just dead, and even if you face things that cannot pen you into the crew compartment, you still die since they will pen your engine and transmission you cant aim at them and they will just constantly set you on fire. All this could be fixed, but gaijin only applies "realism" when they want, irl the tank was great, the aiming system was as smooth as a normal conventional turret, even unexperienced crews could just get in and figure out most the tank so it was simple to use, the armor actually worked most shells fired at it would either bounce off or degrade to such a point where penetration would only reach the engine compartment even APFSDS, and the tank would hardly be disabled since it had 2 engines and 2 transmissions, if any of them broke they could still be used independently, also the fuel tanks at the front would hardly catch on fire. But in game, the tanks is mediocre at best, the aiming system is horrible even after the "updates" it received, probably one of the hardest tanks to use (its like playing on hard mode while everyone is playing on easy), the armor almost never works, even against conventional rounds, it gets easily disabled since the engines and transmissions are not properly modeled, and the tank catches on fire so many times even when you are completely disabled and the fuel tank at the front is destroyed, might as well give its 5 FPE.

If you do planes, the su17m2 sucks. Only 4 reg r60s, turns like a brick, and no countermeasures, at 11.0 The same br as the su17m4, with 268 flares.

Sherman Firefly, in any of its incarnations. No mobility, terrible armour, HMG can't aim at planes, gun handlin is atrocious, APCBC rounds tend to misbehave.

What about the normal AUBL/74 its literaly worse in every way, it allmost has as bad HEATFS as the PT... Its so annoying to play it no stabilization either just a bad machine gun laggy ammoo if you get uptiered its pain;-;

The new Pbv 302 (BILL) is the worst tank I've ever played. You can get penned from the side by 7.62mm machine guns and can the HVAP round can't even side pen tanks at the BR range it is in! The only good thing is the BILLs but you can only carry 7 of them and it usually takes 2 or more unless you aim at a tank that has already lost crew.

I hate the M51, its absolutely the worst. Its slow, a Sherman with out a stabilizer, you will seesaw up and down even stopping at 1kph. While the HEAT can pen anything, it doesn't do enough damage, and the shell is too big, it gets volumed on tracks, snagged on stupid little things. AND!!!! its the only tank you can play before you unlock anything.

The IKV 103 kinda sucks imo. The armor is utterly useless, it has no ranged potential, and the mobility is the only good thing about it. You'd be way better off if Sweden had an M18.

The striker is definitely the most frustrating thing i've ever played ATGMs fire upward for about 300~ meters before finally being controlable, so if theres a guy literally in that range good luck and hope he doesnt spot your noarmor ass. Another drawback is its launcher is a exterior ammo rack. Sure, once you get hit it goes up in flames but not you! But if you dont have FPE its literally better to J out

M48GA2, I love pattons but this thing is just so bad. Mediocre mobility, no stabilizer, gun wombling after soft braking and armor that at this br is just bad. Gun is ok but that's all

its so ironic, japanese tanks are known for just not being good in general and doesnt get any mentions also all were modern stuff i will just point out that the Chi-To, both of them are 4.7 when compared to their closest looking tank, the Pz IV H or G, sits at 4.0/3.7 gun performance is similar, while the japanese gun has more pen, just by a few mm, the shells isnt capped so agaisnt angled armour, Pz IV does better both share same mobility overall, Pz IV is smaller in size and about same armour while booster a longer reload as well

I got the Conqueror recently and boy does it suffer. I cant stand the post pen damage on its APDS. The speed also suffers so hard, I just cant fathom how it stands a chance against leopard 1's and 7.7 counterparts. The armour isn't even anything special. The hull is point and clicked by leo 1's and the turret just suffers until you have add on armour.

Strv 103C is absolutely unplayable, it is completely useless at the BR, going up against long-rod APFSDS nonstop. Sure, the reload is fast, but as soon as anyone shoots your engine, you can no longer move your gun. And you might as well J out at that point.

strv 74 for me. it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen but it's god awfully slow - it feels like a 70 ton heavy tank and not a light tank. and that is a BIG problem when it is a light tank. great at everything else though. digression - the strv 81 after it at least has armor and a good gun. the Ikv 91 though, spaded it in a day of grinding and can't get enough of it. great gun, great speed, play it like a TD or very aggressively, like go straight to "overwatch" positions within a minute of spawning and knife fight with other lights. that slap-grr heatfs is deadly.

Strv103 - they added it years ago, but the aiming still sucks. Ooh, that's some nice slope you've got on your armor! It'd be a shame if you got hit by apfsds or an atgm that plain ignore your angles. Oh you've got two engines? Too bad, they share a hitbox so even if only one's been hit, you still cant move! What's that on your tank, external fuel tanks? Well too bad, you better put out that fire unless you want to burn to a crisp Need i continue?

Type 74 Series *not include the premium one Before the big bonk nerf type 74 it has a good zoom optic and reverse gear, its suit for my playstyle sniping and flanking because this vehicles doesn't have armor after all and i can say this vehicles is better than leopard 1. After big bonk nerf i have to change my playstyle for type 74 because they took it away the zoom optic and the reverse gear, but nothing is suitable for this tank. I can only give up and annoyed, this was my favorite tank in the past but now getting frustrated and i took 3 week off playing war thunder because i can't find it yet. So please if you have playstyle for type 74 tell me

To be fair I liked T95E1, despite what everybody says. It felt pretty well rounded for me, even if M60A1 AOS was better. Tank I hated the most on the other hand was M60A3 TTS. Slow, very sluggish, bad turret rotation speed and armor that exists only in dreams, as well as claustrophobic 8x zoom. I just never found a way to make this tank work. Too little armor to snipe, too little mobility to flank, too little firepower to brawl.
