On November 10th, Above & Beyond celebrated 450 episodes of Trance Around the World and the launch of their new radio show, Group Therapy Radio, with a live broadcast from Bangalore. They were joined by Mat Zo, Norin & Rad, Andrew Bayer, and Jody Wisternoff.

Looking back after 7 years, i still cannot believe that i was there. Had heard only a handful of AnB tracks prior to this gig, i was mind blown at the concert. I was 12 years old. Sort of kickstarted me EDM journey of my life and this was my first of many. Incredibly grateful for life as i was at the right place at the right time that led to me attending this.

10-11-12 was the most "beautiful" night in the history of Indian Dance Music. SHM,Sunburn,BlocParty were not even close to creating the same kind of environment I witnessed at TATW450/ABGT001. Came from Mumbai for the event and I wish I could re-do the whole trip again and again just to experience it once again.

Me & my brother @Bakul Bhandari traveled all the way from new Delhi to Bangalore that too in train which took 33 hours. After 33 hrs of journey we directly came to the venue for TATW450/ABGT001. We were having back pain, headache but when ABOVE & BEYOND played SUN AND MOON. We were charged up like anything. 10-11-12 is truly an historical date for TRANCE lovers in INDIA & for ABOVE & BEYOND too. While writing this i got goosebumps. When i had first met my to be wife, it was Sunburn 2011 and we attended Above and Beyond for the 1st time. So it was so special to attend their historical moment again together with her. Bangalore deserved an event of this magnitude. and it just paves the way for much bigger, massive event in the future. This is just the beginning :)

I always watched aftermovies of dance gigs like UMF, Tomorrowland etc.. and had also started saving up to make my dream come true for the sheer love of EDM. Just then submerge and nikhil broke the news of TATW450 in bglr and dream was a reality. Hours of dancing and melody and the joy of giving birth to ABGT was unbelievable and can't be explained. To me Above and Beyond is the substitute for Parents, Love, God, Master. When Submerge announced TATW is going to happen in Bangalore, I made sure I won the Jack&Jones Meet&Greet contest to meet Tony and Paavo. I have seen many other artists, but this Group is really really special. They just connect with every single audience in the most beautiful way. I followed them all the way to Singapore ZoukOut and met them again in Dec'12. They are MAGIC. Thank you Submerge for changing my life. ~bows~

I'm even lacking the words to describe my feelings when I listened to TATW 450. I saw daylight outside of my home and during the show I found myself alone in the dark room. The feelings were light,pleasing and awesome. I didn't listen to TATW often,however I listened to some shows. 450th episode was special. A lot of great songs, a lot of songs that I haven't heard before and listened to for the first time. These moments are unforgettable and big thanks to Above & Beyond for making it possible.

Magic happens when people come together. Its more than just music to me, Above & Beyond has really saved my life. They make songs that touch my soul in ways that nothing else on this earth can. They're not your average DJ's, thats for sure. TATW450 was nothing short of an emotional journey for me. It was that kind of an experience which makes you sit back and re-evaluate your life. It was an experience which makes you believe in love again, no matter if you've been heartbroken. It makes you believe that there is joy in this world. There was so much outpour of emotions in that one place at one time, it was surreal. I'm glad I was a part of such event. I am glad that we made history that night.

Ive said this before and im saying it again.. this was easily the best day of my life when it comes to Electronic dance music.. everything about this day was perfect... i had tears in my eyes when the show was over.. My voice was gone by the end of it (This after i got to meet the legends A&B ) after watcing this after movie it took me back in time back to that magical day 10-11-12.. For the first time I'd be living live the TATW/ABGT podcast that I had been religiously following for the last 24 months. I was going to be part of history soon and was excited to see DJs such as Jody Wisternoff, Mat Zo, Andrew Bayer, Norin and Rad and of course Above and Beyond. The icing on my trance cake would have to be taking a picture with the one and only Jody Wisternoff who joined the crowd during A&B's gig. First came in Jody to get it all started. Andrew Bayer kept the rhythm going with his massive tunes, followed by the epic duo of Norin & Rad who pretty much had the best opening 20 minutes of any set I've seen in my life. Mat Zo was incredible, mixing his fantastic tracks with classic house numbers, getting us all raving and pumped up for the final set, Above & Beyond. 2 hours, I had no idea what was going on, the visuals left me spellbound. At the end of it, I had only one word to say. ENCORE!

I travelled to Bangalore from Mumbai just for TATW 450 and it truly was one of the best moments of my life. I still get goosebumps every time I hear Thing Called Love. By far the best gig I have attended (yes even better than SHM). Submerge you have raised the bar TOO high with TATW 450. No matter whichever artist comes down to play now, its going to be really hard to match 10.11.12. Amazing crowd, perfect venue and Jono, Tony & Paavo were truly magical. A night I cannot ever ever forget.

They asked me to go with them, I'd always say one thing each and every time, 'My first event has to be something special'. And thank God I waited! Above and Beyond were more than special to me. Over the years TATW has made me explore and appreciate new artists who went on to be my favorite artists today so much so that I even got the Anjunabeats logo tattooed on my left arm (2:25 in the video).ABGT 001 was like being part of something that was more than just music, the feeling of being part of a community that comes together from all over the world every week to listen, appreciate and drift into an eargasmic journey for two hours. As a listener, there is nothing more I can ask for and I'm sure as music producers, they want every single listener to be the same. I didn't get a chance to go to Bangalore for TATW450 as Diwali was just around the corner. I wished if I could see somewhere what happened exactly that night which made Nikhil get SHM to Bangalore, what made him chanting Bangalore Bangalore after this concert.
