Today we are on the road providing follow-up prosthetic care as one of our above knee amputee patients are working with outpatient physical therapy. We are practicing several key skills: balance and core strength, engaging the hip abductors, ambulating with a cane, walking up and down stairs, and getting up off of a floor with an above knee prosthesis.
