Magz, I think these two episodes are a fitting tribute to the courage of the young men known as "The Few" who saved the country from invasion in 1940. With the advance of time, the Few are getting fewer as they pass away one by one. These two videos were clearly a labour of love on your part and brought some idea for this observer, not only of the dangers the pilots went through day after day, but also their thoughts and feelings about their enemy in the other aircraft. Well done!

I said this before but this series is phenomenal. It is far more engrossing than any War Thunder gameplay could be. If it is possible I would watch this type of recreation of every available air action, from all the combatants. What a sense of watching history! The fact that the 16:42 went by in a flash tells me I could watch this type of vid all day long!

I've followed your flying videos for some time, in War Thunder and other IL2 products.. but I think this is my favorite series so far. Good job! We get too hung up on the mechanics of these flight sims and forget what it must have been like for the pilots that flew them at the time. Even a Yank like me can appreciate what they went through.

After you finish this series if you think it's possible (what with re-writing the campaign and everything) you should try doing one of these on IL2 battle of Stalingrad/Moscow. Given the graphics of that game you could do a bit of video editing and make it look like a seen from a movie. This type of video is very cool to watch and not many people put effort into something like this (at least on youtube)

Magz replied to a comment of mine which had the same basic meaning as yours. He said "Bruce's Story will be only the Cliffs of Dover and the battle of Britain for the moment. My idea is to refine my storytelling here and if the series proves popular write a new character for a future series using a different simulator. With the number of sims available and the number of truly simulated aircraft and environments I have quite a selection of options to choose from."

This is, in a word, awesome. when i saw a 16 minute long vid, i poped a can of beer ( no, really) and had my cigarrete and lighter close by. whas fully prepared to drink my beer and have my smoke while watching. I didnt. You had me on the edge of my seat all the while till the end of the dogfight against the stukas. When they decided to call it quits and head over to base, i checked the timeline of the video. 12 minutes had flown past. My hands where still griping my lighter and the (not so cool anymore) beer. My Malboro? Still on my lips, unlighted. One hell of a ride, mate. Superb writing, great editing and flying, and last but not least, fantastic voice over. Cant wait for the next installment. oh... and you owe me a cool beer.
