As a kid I always loved her movies so I was disappointed when Cynthia mentioned on a recent podcast that a lot of her fighting was done by a stuntman in a wig, dressed like her. If you look hard you can see those action cuts. Movie magic.🎬

Not many people know, but the fight choreography in this movie was so challenging for Cynthia Rothrock, she could not perform half of the martial art moves and acrobatic movements in the choreography of the movie. That is when, Yuen Biao wore a blonde wig and became the stunt double for Cynthia Rothrock and did a lot of the martial art, gymnastic/acrobatic movement and kicks in the movie.

No I am telling you what came straight out of movie notes. You can even see the exact source where it was quoted from the movie notes. They put a blonde wig on her so that he can do all of the acrobatic movements and difficult martial art sequences she could not perform. She was doubled by Yuen Biao in most of the fight scenes and also Meng Hoi also doubled for her in other scenes.

One of my best action movie ever, I remember the first day I watched it, I was 5 and now 35. It was in evening when my big brother brought a cassette tape from neighbor. To cut a long story story after watching this film I tried to do the same stunt in movie but failed and left a scar on my forehead.🤭

I can also verify Yuen Biao indeed was the stunt double for Cynthia Rothrock. That is a FACT!! No could have, should have. The proof is the movie itself. In various scenes, if you freeze frame smartly you can spot Yuen Biao sporting a blonde wig and doing all of the acrobatic movements and the technically difficult martial sequences that were too dangerous since they did not want to push an American actor beyond her limits. Rothrock is a great Karate champion, but let's keep things real here.
