After listening to this song for months I just now start to feel like this song is about catching yourself still making plans with the person that you love after you've broken up. Like losing yourself in them still and you still catch yourself making plans on marrying them, and doing things with them in together in the future. Idk just a thought.

i think u got part of it right, i think its a song of somebody that is heartbroken and is reminiscing a long lost love, in which both knew that it was going to an end, so "whats the point of making plans?" and trying to rescue a dying flame, when you and your loved one know that the "orange" lighted flame eventually burn out. So he is sad asking where it went wrong and what if he could have planned to do something different to make it work out. So he is left thinking if he should have ended it or not....idk my two cents... i could be wrong i hope A&B give us an analysis of this song haha....but the feels of this song tho!

I was bought this for my birthday from someone very dear to me, who recently is no longer apart of my life. I feel that this song truly means "What is the point of making plans together or at all, now that we have broken up or that we are going to no longer fight for each other through thick & thin?" It hurts, a lot listening to this song. It reminds me of all the happy memories and smiles together, it also tears me apart because we had so many plans together. I know that when I return from this upcoming deployment, and if I see you again I'll have to remind myself you are with me anymore.

speechless.....wow....and then there is people that still thinks electronic / club music is automatically made just clicking on a magic big button on a pc..... There is so much work, effort, passion and ideas behind every single record...at least for above & beyond.... i personally think that nowadays there should be no boundaries in music, an artist or band should be able to use any instruments (analogic or digital, classic or modern) in order to build the best outcome possible and pass more feelings at the same time..there is no point of being stuck on jsut guitar+bass+drum and nothing more, or the opposite...Unfortunately, it seems that only electronic artists have such an open mind...good for me as I listen to them...i just would love the world bee able to open their eyes and gets the real magic in music!!
