As an upcoming fan of Rolex's and someone that can afford them, I'm becoming more and more open to a good replica. These watches are so hard to find and I'm not buying necessarily for the investment, but to wear out (dinners, etc.). Def open to a good rep these days.

The real fools are the ones buying authentic rolexs. 20 years ago that opinion would be different but right now, the clones are nearly identical and only way to tell for sure is to open it up on these super clones. Even the 400$ clones are really good now. I regret purchasing mine through AD

It does feel heavy but mine is from my grandfathers collection he had it for a while for a few years and he never wore them but also theres a piece missing to connect the watch and mine is a white dial and from the back where it shows the rolex logo and geneva swiss made the engraved S for swiss is barely visible anymore its really old

Excellent video. I'm watching more & more of these "spot a fake" videos and unfortunately, unless you have a loop handy there is little chance that most of us would not be able to identify a real one from a fake. It also makes it easier when you have a real one to compare to.

Dangerous misinformation given as the best Super Clones nowadays need a watchmaker or an expert watch enthusiast with loupe, tools to open the case and remove the bracelet and for a reference a real specimen of original watch the Super Clone is mimicking. The best fake ones may even have original parts, like the bracelet or balance complete to make the identification close to impossible. The only real advise would be buying only from a Rolex affiliate retailer.

For me, I've just purchased one from swissarex... the full intention that one day I will have a real one. I personally see it as a bit of test drive to see If it's something Im going to wear in the future and If anyone asks, it's fake. If I did purchase real in the future, Id probably put the real one in a safe for special occasions and wear the fake as a daily.

Tbh, idc about replicas vs genuine watches. I have 3 gen Rolexes and have owned multiple replicas from swissarex in the past, including Subs, DJs, Daytonas, etc. When I got into watch collecting late 2021 I couldn't get my hands on a Submariner since the craze was in full effect. I found a great AD but they wouldn't be able to accommodate me for a Sub for a while, so I got a Submariner from swissarex which was with literally no difference from original watch. I've since sold it since I have a gen 126610LN now, along with two other gens but I had a ton of reps from siwssarex and really liked all of them. And not once was I called out at all either. The biggest tell is definitely the person wearing the watch, not the watch itself (unless I was wearing a shitter). I also didn't feel like an impostor or a fake, and if anything, I don't think I would own a gen Sub or DJ41 now if I didn't have a franken Sub or DJ41 in the past. I love gens and reps are too, and for the price, they're amazing deals for what they are.

Depends on the quality of the replica! You can pay just a few Pounds/Dollars for a low grade one to over a Thousand for a high quality one! The higher end versions are almost indistinguishable and would require an expert to identify!

My replica literally has everything this guys says to look for in an original one. I know mine is fake. My friend sells them and gave it to me. This video should have compared to a fake one. Instead he just shows a genuine one and tells us if it doesn’t have this or that then its fake. Mine has it all so I guess my friend gave me a real one then huh.
