Curious. Would an evangelical pastor of today living as an Israelite under these blind guides, have picked up, left and planted a new church?

I'm not really sure I understand the question, I apologize. Can you ask it a different way?

Truth be told- my question was a bit loaded and not a good one. I was attempting to make a correlation between the Jewish people of God under the blind Jewish leadership, at and before the time of Christ, and the continuation of the people of God in the Church; neither of whom should ever abandon or separate themselves from what He established in truth because of the behavior of those in authority. My attempted point is that I don’t believe that a modern pastor familiar with starting a church, living in 10 BC and witnessing the blindness of the Pharisees and Saduccees would ever break from the people of God and the Mosaic law to start anew. Less agreeable I’m sure, as a Catholic I would suggest that the Church Jesus established is a continuation of this vision despite the tremendous flaws and scandals of men in her earthly part of her structure.
God can't be a shepherd. A shepherd leads the sheep to a destination. When your version of God speaks, where is he leading his sheep? He can't lead them to him because he's there talking to them. Do better.

@@ClarenceOhare, "open my mind," really? What Jason says is in accord with church teaching and doctrine. He'll never be called a heretic teaching that God is a shepherd. But it's utter nonsense and bears no relation to the God of Scripture. The reason why you ask me to "open my mind" is because you cannot fathom how I arrive at what is an obvious conclusion. No shepherd can train his sheep to come where he is because the moment he opens his mouth, they are already in his presence. With Jesus-God standing among his followers declaring, "come unto him," what more can they do when they share the same geographical space? That's how ignorant this is. But it's not Jason's fault. He's just espousing the same nonsense that's resulted in the election of a devil (John 8:44) that evil rules over our country. Associating God as a shepherd, you may as well call Allah your God. In the Koran, Allah at least makes it plain for the Muslim that He is both God and Lord, God and "shepherd." Yes, a shepherd's calling is to watch over his sheep. But his provident divine calling is to lead his sheep to greener pastures that they might have rest. Allah is always looking for believers.

@@AboveReproachMinistry, stop. Address the issue. If truth is what you have, then I am all for it. Be the shepherd and lead me to the truth. You facilitate as a shepherd when you attempt to lead others to Jesus. So give me this God-Jesus-Shepherd that I might know him. How can God speak and remain God? I know the answer. For you to assert that you know what my username (Not Of This Church) connotes, provide me with an answer as an appeal to my cry for help.

@AboveReproachMinistry, this is just between you and me. Never write a check you cannot cash. Your reaction suggests that you've bitten off more than you can chew. But you are a child, so I will leave you to be as you are. Be careful how you address people. Some of us know and live what we believe and can defend it ad nauseam. I aspire to be one of those people. I've watched you do all you can to unmask the teachings of the Bible. When you draw a distinction between the LORD and God, you'll see all things with greater clarity. I was once there where you are. But I did not have the arrogance that you have. When and wherever there was anyone to serve as a worthy guide, I listened and tested everything they said. Some proved an eternal good, others not so much. You can get there, but it requires humility and learning not to lean on guilt and fear to secure your place. Being girded in truth allows for your ascent into the Spirit of Truth, which the LORD bears (John 14:23).
