Gospel means good news! The bad news is we have all sinned and deserve the wrath to come. But Jesus the Messiah died for our sins, was buried, and then raised on the third day, according to the scriptures. He ascended into heaven and right now is seated at the Father's right hand. Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel."

The first part is talking about a believer because it’s talking about brother committing a sin not leading to death and since that sin is not leading to death, that means they’re not committing the sin that leads to death, that makes them a believer and of course that’s if we’re talking about physical death. And which means that God will give him life implies that God will spare his mortal so that he can live longer but in the spirit he is still saved.

The key questioned asked, which solves most arguments between contradicting theologies was WHAT DOES BROTHER mean. The typical assumption is that is means everyone being written to by the NT authors was assumed to be saved leading to two disparate conclusions. One, that the anti-christ behaviors often discussed among “believers” and the DEATH that results somehow refers to a loss of eternal rewards or being punished by dying physically and being ushered into glory early. Two, that they were potentially “saved” by grace and lost ETERNAL LIFE. The middle ground, detailed through scripture and especially in this book, is that you can name and claim salvation all you want, but God judges the heart, and trials will reveal who was true and who was not (John 2:24-25).

In this example, shows us that a believer strays from the truth and punishable by physical death. That children of God can lose their physical lives through their sins can be seen, for example, in Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1-11). Born-Again Who Habitually Live in Sin Become Premature die (Romans 6:16). At the Lord's Supper, brothers and sisters polluted Jesus' work of salvation through their unknown sins (1 Corinthians 11:27-30). The second part of the verse tells us that a true happiness is not in will commit this sin to death, since the word 'brother' no longer occurs. Here it is mentioned when a believer has a "sinner of leads his erroneous path to repentance, which leads a soul to be saved from death." If someone succeeds in leading a lost man to salvation, whose person is atoned for all sins.
@HillbillyBlack Жыл бұрын
John begins this verse with an odd topic: sin leading to death. The reference to "sins that do not lead to death" has caused much debate among interpreters. Some believe these words refer to spiritual death. Others believe John has in view physical death. The claim that this is a reference to spiritual death often comes from those who argue a person can lose his or her salvation. However, this appears to stand in stark contrast to verse 13. Instead, it is more likely that physical death is in view. Christians today often fail to realize the physical consequences of sin. This can range from criminal punishment to social shame to health issues. Christians are neither immune to sin nor to the consequences of sin. We are still subject to paying the earthly price for our choices. This interpretation also makes better sense of the last comment of the verse. All disobedience to God is sin, and some disobedience can result in swift death. This may come by consequence, or by punishment. Ananias and Sapphira are an extreme example of this in action (Acts 5:1-11). Here, Christians are explicitly told to pray for brothers and sisters whose sins are not that severe. According to this, God is particularly open to those kinds of requests. This same comment seems to suggest that prayers for more grievous sins are less likely to be answered. Note, however, that this verse does not say we should not pray for Christians caught in worse sins. Others have interpreted this as a reminder that prayers for the unbeliever, whose sins are still "leading to death," should focus on their salvation, not their sin.

@@anonymousballer4867 Because John's epistle was addressed to believers, therefore the "brothers" are believers, and the sin unto death was first and foremost sin leading to spiritual death. This ties to the spiritual principles behind the Law of Moses. Some sins could be atoned, others required exile and/or death. For example, physical adultery incurred physical death, because spiritual adulter aka idolatry was a covenant violation, which incurred spiritual death. The spiritual mirroring between Israel and the Body of Christ is unmistakable, but OSAS forces a reinterpretation of everything.

I personally think, you're over thinking this. If a brother commits a sin that does not lead to death. Simply put, No one dies from his action. Not him or the victim of his sin. That sin can be forgiven and the individual can be helped through prayer. James 5:15 But, he needs to recognise his sin and confess it. 1John 1:9 However, if someone should loose their life as a result of whatever the sin is. That is the sin that leads to death, either his own, or that of another, then, circumstance have to be taken into consideration, but, the sin still has to be recognised. But, there are sins that we cannot be forgiven for Mark 3:29 and that sin is unrepentance. The sin we are talking about here is wilful sin, verse 18, Because of our imperfection, we all sin naturally, and for that reason, we die. But, with the hope of a resurrection. Romans 5:12 Jon 5:28-29. Some to a Heavenly Hope, others, to an earthy resurrection. Mat 5:5 This is called Adamic sin

Taking the Lords Supper with unconfessed sin led to the Death of some in the Corinthian Church some were also weakened in their Faith and some got sick . while others were Put To Sleep { Christian Death} is always called sleep in Scripture. So I believe that this is the sin that brings Death since we already have a illustration of this in Corinth. This is why Paul would have us "Examine Ourselves" prior to receiving Communion 1 Corinthians 11. If we judge ourselves with righteous the Lord said we will not be judged this is Crucial and sobering when taking the Bread and the Cup

His teaching is 99% spot on, but @6:49 he falls into a typical theological misunderstanding. Can we walk away from our salvation, or will God preserve me no matter what I do. The answer to both is wrong! When we profess faith, does that guarantee salvation, or does God judge the heart, and give salvation to those He knows are true? John 2:24-25, and many other passages (search Gid judges/examines the heart) describes the latter. If God saves us He CHANGES OUR HEART, and He CAUSES US TO ONEY, and the Spirit POURS OUT AGAPE IN OUR HEARTS. As Paul describes in Romans 7, we AS BORN AGAIN BELIEVERScan desire to do the right thing all we want, but it is only by the power of the Spirit that we can do it.

Sins that lead to death (mortal) severe our charity with God and neighbor when we knowingly, with full consent of our will, unrepentantly say 'my will be done' in direct opposition to God. Venial sins, on the other hand, wound our relationship with God and neighbor. 1 John 5, writes that Christ is pleased when we intercede on behalf of those we see committing acts of commission or omission of venial sins. However, it is written that Christ will not remit mortal sin that we see others commit and that we are not to pray for that. We are then to perform an act of mercy and council those people concerning the consequences of sin that leads to death. We can pray for their eventual conversion of heart, mind and soul.

If a person hears the gospel - but it's foolishness to them - and they are an enemy of God in their mind - why should we pray to God that He open their mind to understand the truth? Free will theology (Arminianism) is such a lie - because if one can see - what decision is there to make? And if one can't see - why would they believe ? It is God who opens eyes. One of the pillars of Calvinist doctrine is that Christ only died on the cross for the elect. But as you well cited (1 John 2:2) - Christ is the propitiation for the sin of the whole world. Both Arminianism and Calvinism are the teachings of men - the truth exists in between. We are saved because God has mercy and opens our blind eyes AND Christ died for the sins of the whole world. (John 1:29). Salvation from beginning to end is all a work of God...everything from choosing us (Eph 1:4)...to drawing us (John 6:44)....to quickening us (John 6:63),(Eph 2:1kjv)… to sealing us (Eph 1:13,14)...to sanctifying us (1 Cor 1:30)...to glorifying us (Rom 8:29,30). There's no room for ‘us’...in salvation...otherwise it's religion...man-centered...effectuated by the will of unregenerate, fallen, hostile in mind creatures...who the Bible says...DO NOT SEEK AFTER GOD....NOR DO THEY UNDERSTAND!! (Rom 3:11) That is unless one wants to make an exception ?? Thank you for your ministry and your youtube shorts. He removed what are called "The Apocryphal" that included 7 complete books & parts of 2 others. He had no more authority than you or I to do so. If you disagree, tell me about his "authority!" One of the books removed was Maccabees ll ... which states that praying for the dead is an good & honorable thing. This assures us that there is a place where sinners go that are guilty of sins that are not spiritually deadly (Mortal), but still guilty of non-deadly sin. (Venial) (2 Maccabees 12: 45-46) … 45 And because he considered that they who had fallen asleep with godliness, had great grace laid up for them. 46 It is therefore a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from sins. ///(1 John 5:17)... All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin that does not lead to death. /// (Rev. 21:26-27) 26 And into the city will be brought the glory and honor of the nations. 27 But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who practices an abomination or a lie, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. I'm speaking of the place that tells us where those souls who are not in grave/mortal sin, but in Venial Sin, (non-deadly sin). They are held where temporarily until those less serious sins are rectified & payed for, upon rendering that soul "purified". At that time, Almighty God welcomes that soul to Life Everlasting (Heaven)! That is the Doctrine of "Purgatory" where numerous Biblical passages refer to it. Of course, it was not named at that time, as was not the term "Trinity", though it was taught, also., yes? Here is proof that it was believed and taught in the Early Church. --- If that Early Church was wrong, then so is your Bible. www.churchfathers.org/purgatory www.ncregister.com/blog/25-descriptive-and-clear-bible-passages-about-purgatory

Thank you for sharing. I’ll be happy to look at that resource. I do disagree with your statement “if that early church was wrong so is your bible”

@@AboveReproachMinistry The complete, canonized Bible came from the Early Church. Before it was written and canonized (for 100s of yrs.) it was taught orally (Sacred Tradition) and not the tradition of men. The difference being that Sacred Tradition was taught by Jesus and handed down to his apostles. They were promised the Spirit of Truth, until the end of the age. If the apostles would fall from that truth, then the Bible cannot be true. You would have no way of knowing. If the Catholic Church (the early church) did not safe-guard it, we wouldn't have it. however we would still have the Church & Magistarium, because our Savior never promised a book ... He promised a Church! I would encourage you to study early Christianity, Jason. Knowing its factually recorded history will guide you to an accurate perspective. Just to note: I often advise that one uses Wiki, Britannica or New World encyclypedias, but people are able to edit and mis-inform their interner sources. Non-Catholic Christian articles regarding history is accidently or purposely spun, in order to support their own faith ideology. Luther did the same when he removed books (because of Purgatory) and added the word "alone" behind the word "faith." Know that the only accurate info on Early Christianity comes from the only source of history that was present at the time. The Catholic Church (CC)! Outside of the CC there is hardly even a mention of Jesus Christ. Sometimes you can avoid the edits by searching around a topic. EX: A pope was involved in over-seeing the Church Council that decided on the books in the Bible. That may or may not be mentioned in Wiki's "New Testament Canon" search, however you might find it in a seperate search for that particular pope. *Pope Damasus I* This is accurate: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_Damasus_I This article as of last night appeared very accurate: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Development_of_the_New_Testament_canon#Council_of_Trent Long read & accurate at least on the subject of our conversation: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biblical_canon I appreciate your attention and I pray you & family are well. I know they are blessed!

I'd say it's the unforgivable sin that blasphemes the HS

I don’t believe this is entirely true,I believe we must repent continuously. I’ve also saw many videos of people who claim to have went to (experienced/NDA) hell and saw souls of people they knew and their only fault was not being forgiving of someone who wronged them. Doesn’t sound like something Jesus didn’t pay for,but can’t really say. Which also in my opinion means God is also unforgiving with probably trillions of souls in eternal disparity over something very human and not exactly sinful. If He was truly forgiving He would take all those to Heaven who did their best and the rest would be reincarnated to try again. I believe very much in God and want to do His works I was sent here for but it’s difficult when I see a lot of hypocrisy in how humans are supposed to be more controlled than He is Himself.

Jeremiah 7 tells us that God doesn't hear prayers from the abortionist idolatorers and the oppressors nor their intercessors prayers are not heard of by God for they never repented Jeremiah 7 stipulates. 1 JOHN 4 God is love and we must have love for one another or we have no relationship with Christ. Therefore a righteous Democrat Believers is a true Oxymoron likewise for the idolatorers and the narcissistic oppressors like King Saul. Love the Lord with all your heart mind and soul and likewise love your brother as thyself. SIN UNTO DEATH IS NOT ABIDING IN LOVE WITH ONE ANOTHER. This is my warning to you because I am worried. You do not deserve this, please do not take my words lightly, you never know who one is talking to - am I just a random person or am I filled now with a Holy Spirit? I am writing this to tell you that you're wrong. First of all, burn that image of "Christ" behind you. That is NOT how God looks like (demons love that picture and/or a cross with Jesus on it). In fact, there is a demon behind that picture which you pray to, giving it power and it is deceiving you. It is written, "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth." This is his third commandment and you're blatantly breaking it meaning, you either are deceived (reading the wrong Bible) or just plainly not keeping his commandments (which makes you a liar). Secondly, we should pray for our enemies but not for our true enemies. Our true enemies are not of flesh and blood. Besides, who are YOU to decide when to and when not to pray for someone who is still alive, here on Earth? We know what death is, eternal death. It comes after this life, depending if we were in Christ or not. There is little to no psychical death in Bible, as I see it. Death is DEATH, not "overdosing and dying", "bullet through the head" or similar bull. You might say now: "Yeeee dude but this is my interpretation..." - forget about that bull as well, Bible is not to be interpreted but to understand it as it is - the WORD of GOD. One can either READ it properly through HIS eyes and know ti is the truth or NOTHING. There is no in-between, "Oh I think he said that or that"... If one cannot see it straight away, that only means that one needs to spend more time fasting, casting own demons out, praying to Lord and keeping his commandments all the time as much as possible to gain His favour in revealing more. .... I am going too much now off-topic, let me go back to the subject. Thirdly, Jeremiah was old testament meaning, God saying not to pray for them (that are still alive) because God was deciding everything - and there was no advocate at that time, and you know who our advocate is - Jesus Christ. Fourthly, "Not a conversation for today" in your mind is not a conversation FOREVER! That is disturbing, you spending countless hours, getting the wrong conclusion which means, not only you MIGHT not see Heaven - but you'll continue being cursed here on Earth. It is written, whoever twists God's word is cursed. All you had to do is KEEP READING the next few chapters in this video yet you SKIP them right after saying "Not a conversation for today". The irony, ha. I am referring to: "Whoever says 'I know Him' but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him..." I've seen so many Christians that do not keep the Sabbath holy, for example. Oh and yeah, did you just pray for "XZY down the street "on this video, or was that just as an example? Just wondering. We can be erased from the book of life, no matter what YOUR conclusion is after "countless" hours. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZiQdKuKfpx4fZY&ab_channel=IsaiahSaldivar

The sin that leads to death is taking the mark of the beast. Not relevant to today’s church age
