You and he have figured out no truth until you practice truth. John 3:21. You and he are in 1 John 1:6, because you are not witnessing John 3:21, john 8:12 and 1 John 1:7 as the Way to not be lawless. The will of God as the Law of God comes to us in the light of the glory of God, aka the image of God. Then, obedience manifests. Until then, lawless and unclean without the blood of Jesus cleansing you from all sin.

Why do we think the words of the church of England are the standard for truth? words are lies from a depraved mind communicated by an exceedingly wicked tongue devoid of any arrows pointing to the one true understanding of them. I'll just add this -- which has helped me alot in understanding the true meaning of this particular passage. The direct inference of, "I never KNEW you" -- is that they (each one, individually) never KNEW Him, either. Any lightbulbs go on for you? One -- BIG ONE -- did for me! It is impossible for our relationship with Jesus to ever be, one-sided. It, by design, can only be symbiotic. And we make Him our redeeming savior in one way -- and one way only. "It's either my way (His way) or it's the highway"!!

Dividing the word rightly isn't just about the scriptures directly around a verse but the whole Word. God says he doesn't change, he doesn't. You can't cast out demons without a relationship with Christ empowered by the Holy Spirit. The Old Testament/New Testament doesn't tell us we can't walk away from Christ it warns us not to. I know it's comforting to say 'well, they weren't real Christians like us' but that's a soulish comfort not based on the word. Ezekiel 18:24 says when a righteous man turns to wickedness his righteousness won't be remembered anymore. Ezekiel 3:20 says the same thing. Stay in Christ, humble and hungry for him. Stay in the word, prayer, holiness and turn from anything not Him.

No Jeremiah 17:9 is what trips me up because it teaches that we don’t even know our on heart, if we really have a heart of God or if we’re deceiving ourselves. It allows us to “justify” our wrong actions in spite of what God’s Word says. It’s also why we are not called to judge anyone other than ourselves. Just thinking out loud. 🤔

Excellent clarification! I could study these verses for days! It is my user name, after all 😂 BUT, I think it is one of THEE most single important verses, with so much packed into them. Jesus tells us everything we need to know and everything we need to do, trust in HIM! It’s taken me years, AFTER coming to Jesus and getting saved, to understand this. His will for us is to HAVE FAITH AND TO TRUST IN HIM, not ourselves.

Many yrs ago, I’d been studying the Hebrew and reading the Torah of Moses. I started wondering if this was the “narrow path that so few find”. And I started fretting a bit because I couldn’t even keep the 10 commandments, much less 613 laws! So I went into prayer asking Him to reveal to me exactly what was “the narrow path that so few find spoken of in His word.” As soon as that cane out of my mouth, Everything around me went white, white, white. I could not see my furniture or my room. All I could see is WHITE. Then these giant black letter appeared one at a time “H O N E S T Y” I stared at it for a minute then I thought: “of course! It doesn’t get any narrower than honesty”. As soon as I thought that it all disappeared and I could see my room again. At first I was elated that He would even bother to answer me. But then fear came over me and I hit my face to the floor and started crying saying: “What if I can’t? What if I tell a lie?” And I heard a voice (in my head) very clearly that said “Trust me”. I give my word and Yahweh is my witness that this truly did happen just as I said. But after listening to you, it makes sense that trusting in Yahshua is the narrow gate. From my understanding, gate / door is synonymous and Christ IS the door. But that truly happened. And I always thought that vision was from God. Tho I know Satan can appear as Angel of light. I just never thought Satan would encourage Honesty. Is Satan even allowed to respond they something like that if you’re praying to the Father? Gosh... I feel confused. 😔🙏

Being born again is not a guarantee but an opportunity. You must be born again, that's the first step, but that only creates a lamp (new man) within you, you must come to God daily to fill the lamp with oil (the Holy Spirit). Another illustration Jesus gives is getting a new bottle and then getting it filled with the new wine. Or get a branch getting grafted into the True Vine, but if it bears no fruit it dries up and falls off and gets burned, etc. The sad reality is that most born again Christians will be worse off than the unbelievers on the day of judgement.

3. (4-5) Peter equates Jesus with Moses and Elijah and is dramatically rebuked by a voice from the cloud of God’s glory. Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.” While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!” a. Lord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah: Mark 9:6 and Luke 9:33 point out that Peter didn’t know what he was saying when he said this. Though said without careful thought, the effect of his words put Jesus on an equal level with Moses and Elijah, building equal shrines for each of them. i. “Peter suggested the retention of the three in association: Moses, the law-giver; Elijah, the reformer; and Jesus, the Messiah.” (Morgan) ii. “The booths [tabernacles] (the word normally means ‘tents’) would be temporary shelters of branches, such as were erected for the Feast of Tabernacles.” (France) iii. “How selfish the one thought, ‘It is good for us!’ What was to be done for the rest of the twelve, and for the other disciples, and for the wide, wide world?” (Spurgeon) b. A bright cloud overshadowed them: This is the cloud of God’s glory, called the shekinah in the Old Testament. From this cloud of glory, God the Father spoke. i. “When God draws near to man it is absolutely necessary that his glory should be veiled. No man can see his face and live. Hence the cloud, in this instance, and in other cases.” (Spurgeon) c. This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him! The Father, from heaven, rebuked Peter’s attempt to put Jesus on an equal footing with Moses and Elijah - and while he was still speaking. It was important to interrupt Peter, so that all would know that Jesus is unique and the beloved Son - He deserves our special attention, so Hear Him! i. One might say that everything that the Father said came from the Scriptures. · In Psalm 2:7, the Father says to the Son: You are my Son. · In Isaiah 42:1, the Father says to the Son that He is One in whom My soul delights. Or as Matthew 12:18 quotes the passage: in whom My soul is well pleased! · In Deuteronomy 18:15, God the Father says through Moses the prophet about the coming Jesus, Him you shall hear. ii. “The occasion was most august, yet no better words are needed by the Lord himself concerning his own Son than those recorded in former ages in the pages of Holy Writ…So that this voice of the Lord utters three Bible words, and surely if the Lord speaks in the language of Scripture, how much more should his servants? We preach best when we preach the word of God.” (Spurgeon) iii. This is another development of the significant theme in Matthew of the conflict between Jesus and the religious leaders. With these words from heaven, God the Father clearly set Jesus above the Law and the Prophets. He is not merely another or even a better lawgiver or prophet. Jesus is the only begotten Son. iv. “If the Father says, ‘This is my Son,’ observe the graciousness of our adoption! With such a Son the Lord had no need of children. He did not make us his children because he needed sons, but because we needed a father.” (Spurgeon) d. Hear Him! If we should listen to anyone, we should listen to Jesus. One would think that a voice from heaven would say, “Listen to me!” But the Father said, “Hear Him!” Everything points us to Jesus. i. “Which words establish Christ as the only Doctor and Teacher of his church, the only one to whom Christians are to hearken: nor doth this destroy the ministers of the word, who are no more than the interpreters of what he hath said, and no more to be regarded than as by then we hear Christ speaking more plainly and frequently unto us.” (Poole) ii. “If Peter be our master, let us call him so; if Calvin be our master, let us call him so; and if Wesley be our master, let us call him so; but if we be disciples of Jesus, then let us follow Jesus, and follow him with other men only so far as we perceive they followed Christ.” (Spurgeon)

Matthew, 12:25: “And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand.” Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:29 “Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:” 1 Corinthians 10:32 “Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: 1 Corinthians 12Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. 4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: 11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. 12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For the body is not one member, but many. 15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? 17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? 18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. 19 And if they were all one member, where were the body? 20 But now are they many members, yet but one body. 21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you. 22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary: 23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. 24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked: 25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. 26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. 27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. 28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles? 30 Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? 31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way. Psalm 133 King James Version 133 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! 2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; 3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore. 1 Corinthians 14:33 “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 “Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.” 1 John 2:22 “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? Isaiah 54 1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD. 2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; 3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited. 4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. 5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. 6 For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God. 7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. 8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer. 9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee. 10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee. 11 O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires. 12 And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones. 13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children. 14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee. 15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. 16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. 17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Mark 7 25 For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet: 26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter. 27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. 28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs. 29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter. Matthew 15 26] But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. [27] And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. [28] Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. Ecclesiasticus 26 A dishonest woman contemneth shame: but an honest woman will reverence her husband. 25 A shameless woman shall be counted as a dog; but she that is shamefaced will fear the Lord. 26 A woman that honoureth her husband shall be judged wise of all; but she that dishonoureth him in her pride shall be counted ungodly Jeremiah31* 31Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. 35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. 37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD. Jeremiah 311 At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people. 2 Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest. 3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. John 8 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Abiding in the darkness is being a worker of lawlessness practicing blasphemy of the spirit. Saying words that you think are confession and repentance doesnt get you out of the darkness. Walking the flesh in the light does. John 3:21, john 8:12, and 1 john 1:7 is the gospel of the glory of Christ; while everyone ignores and avoids it in the dark practicing lawlessness. The Word is in the light. None can know it in the darkness. They are in john 3:20 and 1 john 1:6 and 2 john 1:7 thinking they are confirming their faith with pen and ink instead of confirming with the Author and Finisher of faith in the light.

The will of God is for us to live HIS righteous ways. That is the law. We should absolutely be scared of this verse. I admire your attempt at clearing this up by gaining context to the passage. However, the Bible interprets the Bible. The truth of this passage can be understood by this. 1 John 1:6 (NASB95): If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; Psalm 119:142 (NASB95): Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And Your law is truth. Matthew 7:23 (NASB95): 23 “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’ So one can see that we must practice the TRUTH. God's LAW is TRUTH. Not practicing the LAW is LAWLESSNESS and he never knew us.

...Even more than that, how do you believe in Jesus unless the Spirit of Jesus gives you that belief? Similarly, how can you have faith in Him unless His Spirit is with you to have faith in Him? Belief and faith come from the Lord by grace. Neither comes from anything we do... Rather, our belief and faith in Him is in response to what He has done to us...by grace. Truly, everything is to the credit of the Lord... All honor and glory redounds to Him.

Thank you I needed this. That verse has scared me yes. A lot. Few will enter it. Few! The thought of this is terrifying to me. Also, remember the verse when the deciples asked the Lord why were we not able to cast out the demons from that boy? Jesus replied because of your faith. This kind must be through prayer? The boys dad came to Jesus and said your men were not able to do this for me so can you? Jesus said how long will I be with you? Something like this,,, anyways, how then if this example says someone had actually cast out demons in His name that the Lord then says He never knew them? This has really bothered me. If you ever read my reply here please address this in your opinion as it worries me. Thank you 🙏 for your consistent Bible Study. I too am constant studying and worshiping the Lord Jesus. Well done! Simply put, this verse should not scare anyone who has a relationship with Jesus. A relationship between two people is where the two people know each other. Self-atonement by wearing hair shirts and the giving of alms is not the way. Jesus is the way. He is the way back to the Father, how we come to know the Father. Good job, Jason.

I believe there are a lot of people who say they are Christians and have a relationship with Yahweh. They say they love Yahweh, but they don’t keep his commandments. (John 3:36) They still worship on Sunday (A pagan practice established by Constantine and the Catholic Church) and fail to celebrate the feasts that He ordained. Instead they honor and practice other pagan holidays like Easter and Christmas. I don’t think Yahweh is happy when we don’t honor the Sabbath. Some say these laws are just for the Jews but if you are saved you have been “adopted” into the family of Yahweh, so it is now for us too! It has been said that we are “under grace now“, but I believe we are under “Mercy”! We are like the children of Israel and can’t stay on the “narrow path“. We keep worshiping the wrong things. So, I believe there are a lot of us who will be hearing “I never knew you“! It really IS scary.

The LORD said this in Josh.1 [7] Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. BUT then Jesus came and gave that message too. Maybe you can not answer my questions because you may not be saved. To be saved you have to learn how from God's spokes man for all the people of the world. HIs name is Saul but called Paul. He wrote 2/3's of the NT. He does say somethings exclusively to Jews and you have to pay attention to that. Read Gal. 1, perhaps the whole book which is very informative. But Paul explains that he is the minister of the truth that was kept a secret. 1Cor.15 [1] Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; [2] By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. [3] For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Romans 16 [25] Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, Moses was the man but now Paul is the man to follow by God's design Josh.1 [7] Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. 1Cor.11 [1] Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

I loved this teaching and Remember the Gospel is found in 1 Corinthians 15 1-4 : Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures and we have to put our trust in his blood Romans 3 24-26 : 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. And You are saved through faith in his blood alone it is a free GIFT of God and not through your works lest any man should boast! So remember that faith means you believe and trust it and the moment you trust the blood Gospel you are saved and if you want to tell that too God it should come from the Heart! God bless you

The question that should be asked in regard to this Scripture is this... These two groups of people to whom you refer, the good fruit and the bad, who do they correspond to? Isn't that the ultimate question to seek an answer? I mean, all of your listeners are now wondering if they are of the good fruit or not... Moreover, I imagine your listeners are thinking they are some times good fruit, while other times bad fruit. So indeed, the answer to the question of who the good and bad fruit are is what the many are seeking an answer to... Indeed, the answer to that question reveals the Gospel and exposes these other gospels that mere men preach that are no gospel at all.

Ah, that verse 22. They really are able to cast out demons etc in his name, because his name carries that much authority. But the people who are doing it were doing it for their own glory and as such their hearts were far from God. Remember if God casts out a demon from someone and that person grows to love him then who cares who uttered the words and in Jesus' name that it be done. That person got their blessing. Can one believe in vain according to the scripture? Yes 1 Corinthians 15:1-2 NKJV Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, [2] by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you-unless you believed in vain. Can one neglect their salvation? Yes Hebrews 2:1-3 NKJV Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. [2] For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, [3] how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, Matthew 7:21-23 means exactly what it says.....do not be deceived. Do the will of God and get to know Jesus. How?.... The will of God is that we are sanctified see..... 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8 NKJV For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; [4] that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, [5] not in passion of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God; [6] that no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. [7] For God did not call us to uncleanness, but in holiness. [8] Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God, who has also given us His Holy Spirit. To know Jesus, we have to obey his words? John 14:15 NKJV "If you love Me, keep My commandments. 1 John 2:4 NKJV He who says, "I know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1 John 4:7-8 NKJV Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. [8] He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. John 14:23-24 NKJV Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. [24] He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me. Matthew 8:11-12 NKJV And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. [12] But the SONS OF THE KINGDOM WILL BE CAST OUT INTO OUTER DARKNESS. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

They want the credit... They are claiming Jesus and having a godly appearance, but denying God's power and instead taking credit for healing, casting out demons, etc. themselves.

Very good discernment and enjoyed the video. We should also remember that our enemy made an accusation against the whole of creation: "All a man has he will give up to save his soul." Our savior proved that as, "Not so". He gave himself up so us sinners can have life and have it more abundantly. He is now King of kings and Lord of lords and lives forever more. Those who put themselves first, will be made last in God's new kingdom. Those who put themselves last will be made first in God's new kingdom. Jesus told us to put the welfare of others first, turn the other cheek and to humble ourselves. He stated that the meek will inherit the earth. Yes, that is a tall order for living in these ruthless, frustrating, demonic days, but Jesus preached 100% against narcissism and 100% for empaths. His will and warning to us is that we get out of the world. The narrow gate leads those who are really getting out of the world to salvation. Especially the Pagan worldly holidays, kick them to the curb, and instead, observe God's Holy Days. Why didn't Jesus say, "You never knew me?" Because we could know Jesus, but unless we call out to him and include him in our everyday life and decision-making process, he will not know us. The only way that he would know us is if we did not have those narcissistic characteristics and have actually gotten out of the demonic, Paganistic world. Call out to him. If we call out in spirit and truth, is he not going to answer? Blessings.

@servant_serv-ant Thank you for your response. About 40 years ago, I had the rewarding experience of having many Bible studies with people from the Islamic faith. It revolutionized my thinking as a Christian. I believe every Christian should have that same experience. Although Christians certainly have their differences, we must totally respect their devotion and many of their ways of worship, like not eating the pig, which modern day Christians pay no attention to at all. Why? People from Islamic countries are steeped in their religion and their history that goes back thousands of years. That is quite different from Christian life here in the USA, where our history goes back a couple hundred years. Their history and religion reflect thousands of years of involvement in their religion, which is closely tied to the Bible history. Their religion is ingrained in them. They are well aware of who Abraham, Issaac and Jacob are and the history of the Bible. There is a fascinating story here for anyone who will research into what really happened with the families of God way back in Bible history. Islamic people are a big part of that family. The Islamic nations are brothers to the Jewish people as well as Christians from the USA. If you do not know their history, you cannot fully understand the world that you live in today. Thanks again for your response. Blessings.

Yea, it’s not easy. I cannot come up with a definitive answer. I want to say no because repentance of sins is the same as keeping the law, but even though I make no effort to “keep the law” for some reason I naturally end up keeping the law. There’s a story about 2 sons. The father tells them to go work in the vineyard. The 1st son says no, but changes his mind & goes. The 2nd son says he will go but never does. The 1st son describes me. That’s the best way I can describe repentance. Is it a requirement to be saved? Idk, but I end up doing it anyway.

And the Lord will say, "Go away, I never knew you.". But did you do the will of our Eternal Father, in JESUS'name? One must form a relationship with God. and give themselves over to God, asking God to try themselves as Gold is tried in the fire, seven times. We must pray for discernment from satan and talk to God all the time. We don't make our own decisions. We ask God, firstly. Literally asking God before we blink our eyes or tie our shoes. Exaggeration for emphasis, but not much. We must lose everything and go to God with nothing, to gain everything. Just like the Disciples Jesus called to Himself 🌹✝️🌹

Yes.

@@danielbelteshazzar-mg7rb Why only two verses? It's the end of the chapter 7, for one and all the verses from 21 on, are relevant. It clearly states "My Fathers' will." Not, My will or JESUS' will. The only way to do that is to live in the spirit. Drop the physical and material consciousness and walk on the water with Jesus. If Simon didn't lose Faith, he would have walked on the water with Jesus and not sank. His physical consciousness of fear got the best of him. He needed to live in the spirit, as we do.

@@TheFightingSheep Born Roman Catholic, the first words if our encyclical reads, "We are not beholding to anyone or anything apostate within the Vatican and church." We are to remain true to the true Magisterium of the church which lies in the supernatural. The Father, Son and Holy Ghost are supernatural, even though Jesus is with us in the here and now. We can't see Him because He is Divine and we trust in His Divinity to defend and protect us. The other day, I felt a presence and I knew it was JESUS. He said, "Don't you know I am always with you?". Matthew 7:21-26 reads to do the will of the Father. No one else. The Father called all things to Himself through His Son, Jesus. Simon sank into the ocean because his physical consciousness got the better of him. We need to lose the physical and material consciousness and walk on the water with Jesus. By doing that, Jesus will lead us to do the will of His Father. We have to live in the spirit and have complete trust in Jesus.

The first work of repentance, confession, many what to hide or cover their sin, but the right way is to confess and atone. if you stole, atonement is to return 4 fold. its in the judgements in exodus, part of the law. Zacheus in Luke. Believed and told jesus he gave away half his wealth, and paid back anyone he stole from 4 fold, and jesus said salvation has come to his house.

Sooo - I am to believe that Jesus died for me and accepts me as one of his own. Because he did that for me I am saved. I do good works because I WANT to - it’s natural - not because I should or need to to be saved? Is that the whole of it?

Have you noticed that each of these actions mentioned by many to justify their “righteousness” is a public expression of their faith. Jesus says in Matthew 6:3 there is no reward for public righteousness.

Matthew 7:21-23 is not about people who think they are going to heaven. It is about so-called Christians who are doing other things but God's Will. Obviously only one united group is doing God's Will during these last days. The tense of 'i never knew you' shows church membership which has been around for a long time and who are the many.

"I never knew you" means he is addressing those people who didn't have a personal loving relationship with Jesus. They could even profess that they "love" Jesus but they never knew his voice nor experienced Jesus as a friend in a very deep and loving way on a daily basis. These people whom Jesus said "I never knew you" basically meant one thing. That God the Father through Jesus never really meant more to them than anything else in life. Most professing Christians have a religious relationship with the Lord but he doesn't know them, meaning he doesn't have a deep personal intimacy with them. At 6mins he says, "that makes life pretty difficult". Loving God and living for Christ is not "difficult". In fact Proverbs says it's the way of sinners, the way of the transgressor which is hard. Jesus said my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Yes the way of the religious IS difficult. Because Jesus didn't come to command behaviour modification or for the gps positioning of one's backside to be in a man made temple to put on religious airs and graces on Sundays as a means to escape God's wrath and judgment.

The sad part is most of the church rejects God’s instruction (Torah) as “for the Jews”. “If you love me keep my commandments.” “If one says that he knows me, but DOESNT keep my commandments, he is a liar and the truth isn’t in him.” You can’t teach heart, but the one who loves wishes to do, and much of the church is deceived by what is expected of this relationship, sadly.

That passage refers to Jesus describing the hostile spirits of Satan's kingdom - the ringleaders who attempt to stifle the progress of repentant spirits. While Jesus was alive Hell and earth were still under the total control of Satan. Spirits incarnated on earth and returned to Hell when they died. Jesus was talking of a time in the near future when He would storm into Hell at the head of a celestial army and set free all who wanted to leave and give their allegiance to the King of Heaven once again. Those hostile spirits would remain in Hell until they changed their attitude.

It is my strong belief that salvation (and thus our qualification to enter into God's kingdom) is based on one thing -- and one thing ONLY. John 6:40 describes the 'will of the father'. Just look it up. He NEVER knew them. He didn't say He at first knew them and then they blew it. He NEVER knew them, because they did not trust in Him but rather relied on and boasted in their 'wonderful works'. Leading up to this Jesus had been talking about false teachers who were trying to add 'justification by the law' to 'justification by faith'. Believe in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation apart from works TODAY. You don't know what tomorrow will bring.

The wolves in sheeps clothing are todays mainstream pastors or shepards( see Ezekial 34) because they teach lawlessness. Woe unto them for Yeshuas own words condem. "Not one jot or tittle be removed from the law". And the books of Moses will judge them for their man made doctrine , John 5:39-47.

The simplest way to explain this and other foreboding Scripture that clearly speak of two "groups" of people is this... We all, each one of us, correspond to being both sheep and goats. On the day of judgment, they will be separated one from the other... That is, the goats are the objects of God's wrath destined to everlasting destruction. The sheep are the objects of God's mercy destined for glory. Hence, we all must be born again... That is, our old selves, the goats, must be put to death. Our new selves, that is, the sons and daughters of God, are then born in glory to live in eternity with our glorious Father, through Jesus our Lord, forever and ever. Now, if I may say, with this in mind, re-read Scripture. Scripture harmonizes...

Those who have faith in Jesus receive Justification (forgiveness of sin) but those in Christ must also seek Sanctification (Holly life) this is a process. You must learn to walk with Jesus and live the way Jesus taught. stop watching violent movies and collecting treasures here on earth and read your Bible Do the will of the Father and keep all 10 of his Commandments, don’t be lawless. Write them on your heart for what is in the heart the mouth speaks .don’t be a hypocrite. Revelations 12:27 and Revelations 14:12 call for us to keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus Christ.

If Messiah is your example and you claim to follow Him, then do as He did, why even after His ascension, His disciples were keeping sABBAth and celebrating the LORD'S holy days. (read Hebrews chapter 4-sabbath means rest. Abba means daddy! so the LORD'S day the 7th day sABBAth-wriiten in stone with his own finger! Who dares change it? in John it talks about the disciples celebrating the feasts of the LORD (YHVH-Yehovah!)
