You can tell this guy is a prog metal drummer. He knows his stuff. Kamelot does remind me quite a bit of Dream Theater. They really got a lot better too. From rather typical power metal to more sophisticated Symphonic/ progressive metal. Definitely underrated and IMO way better than Nightwish's drummer but hey, that's my cup of tea.

I'd actually wager to say he's playing a set of Pearl ELX's (Exports). I've seen footage o fhim playing these, as well as a set of Pearl EX's with the black-black-black hardware/finish combo. If you look closely at the kit, it has normal triple-flanged hoops, as well as the Masters-inspired lugs (instead of the Reference-inspired lugs that the Vision has). Either way, the kit sounds fantastic. Later-model Exports sound amazing.
