Many Australia and New Zealand rappers been influenced by America gangsta rap for decades, so Drill ain't really nothing new for them.

It's just not as authentic as Chicago drill no matter how much they use Chicago slang or talk tough or even when they was using beats from Chicago Drill songs early on. They was able to create a lane for people who couldn't be as reckless or backup the gangsta talk like Chicago could but still wanted to ride the wave that Chicago made. You don't even have to show your face and you can still be looked at as real.
