In the Bible, we come across the forefather Abram (his real name), who rejected his ancestral gods (their names are not mentioned) and answered the call of a new God, El, as depicted in Genesis. He embarked on a journey towards the location of this new God. As his journey continued, he arrived in Hebron*. Hebron was considered a place where God descended, hence it was called Elkhulin, meaning the door of the sons of God. In Hebron, Abram encountered the Nephilim, the Ataba, who was believed to be the offspring of the sons of God. In his quest to find the true dwelling place of God, Abram eventually arrived in Elkhud, later known as Salem and then Jerusalem. I always wonder how Abraham had that sort of faith, but then it just suddenly dawned on me that the Lord had spoken to Abraham several times and he promised him many many many nations of descendants so he had to have had faith that Isaac would not have to be killed so it's easier to trust God if you have personally spoken with him, but I know the Bible talks about his faith, was counted as righteousness in God's eyes, but his faith did eventually have a little boost from speaking to the Lord, personally didn't it?

Joseph was dark-skinned, that's why. Just like the so-called negros today. Being in Egypt so long, he would've adopted their customs - shaved head, probably no beard/mustache on his face.
