Gary Burton's "The New Quartet" was the very first ECM recording I ever owned (purchased new on LP in the mid 70's). That means that I've been enjoying Abe's musicianship for over thirty-five years! He is an inspiring player. Many thanks for the music, Abe, and thanks for posting this interview.

I started to listen Abahram L. and follow his carrier when he was still a member of Koinonia. He is one of the reason I started playing bass. I admire him as a man, as a musician and as a Christian. Whatever video or recording you'll find with Abe L. playing, it will blow you away :). That's just who he is.

Thank you for introducing yourself as a bass player, father, husband... your place of birth, how you started studio work with many muscians and so on.... You have never, ever mentioned your affiliation with CHRISTIANITY!!! Never told us how important it is in your life, just because you are either ashame of that or render it not important... one way or another... You are a liar Abraham, or should I say you were one... Integrity music, Hosanna music... ????? Seriously? you are going to just dismiss all this? Are you even a Christian? Do you put Jesus in the first PLACE? WHY? "I want to share my life story, my heart............ WHERE IS YOUR HEART???????????????
@xmandlt6 жыл бұрын
He loves God. I know this. He doesn't have to prove it to you or anyone else who makes such ridiculous demands.
@jstyle36 жыл бұрын
Of course he doesnt have to prove anythig to me but! but, how come the child of God can not admit the defining, MOST IMPORTANT thing in their life??? If Jesus and salvation is the focal point of my life, why would anything else is worth mentioning but GOD? please explain!!!!!
@xmandlt6 жыл бұрын
@@jstyle3 - still with the demands. Who made you arbiter over other people's walk with God?? I suggest you ease up on the silly judgement and worry about your own relationship with Him.
@jstyle36 жыл бұрын
Oh I do... every single day and hour of my life... the initial topic though was though Labourier's life story! When you are a child of God, before you mention all your "other" friends, Laborier seems to mention a lot of friends, but never his best friend... WHY? You can argue all day long, did he or not ever mention the most important truth in THE WHOLE UNIVERSE!?!?!?!
@jstyle36 жыл бұрын
There are two possibilities: either Laborier did not care about what he was involved in or he is just embaressed about it... one way or another he, was a hipocrite, pretending to be part of integrity music... including Ron Kenoly worship team etc....
