I'm on day 6 with covid confirmed today. It's been painful, super fatigue, body aches, mucus, diarrhea, knife jabbing heachaches every couple seconds (thankfully it slowed down now) and very hard to sleep. Mornings are the worst, then gets better during the day, but by night time gets bad. Then next morning it repeats all over again. Would never wish this on my worst enemies. 🙏

I was on week 5 of recovering from double pneumonia and was starting to improve and go for little walks, then I suddenly started feeling worse than ever and lost my appetite. I talked to the GP on the phone and she asked me to go to the surgery to listen to my chest. I was then sent to a&e and was kept in overnight for fluids and to monitor my low blood pressure. They tested me for COVID and I was positive. I'm home now and now know that my husband has tested positive too although he doesn't have symptoms. The hardest thing is the loss of appetite as I have already lost 3kg with the pneumonia. The video was very helpful, thanks

I was really sick with Covid for three weeks this October. I do not take any medication so I asked my doctor to order me in-home oxygen, i ordered pulse ox, I drank a lot of fluids, and took other natural supplements. I think the best thing I did was get the in-home oxygen. It really helped me I’m 68 years old and was very very ill with Covid. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. I just started driving my car this past week. Thank you for the information.

I'm doubly vaxxed and doubly boosted, a frontline worker and Covid only just found me. I'm on Day 6 and have a rather severe case as a result of having asthma. I've had all the typical symptoms, fever, sinus pain, chills, body aches, sore throat, persistant cough, no smell or taste, but it's the headache, fatigue, and back/lung pain that that is affecting me the most. And the isolation too,. ..I've managed to keep the other 3 people in my house testing negative, but it's hard being alone. Your video is a great help, thank you for sharing.

I prepared everything from vitamin D to oxymeter in advance just in case we got Covid, but your advice becomes even more valuable when the reality of Covid hit my family. Thank you so much for this! Currently dealing with Covid after being safe all this time. I'm vaccinated (not boosted), and even still, this is a miserable thing. Just about every single symptom is cycling through. Can't smell or taste anything (could be the horrible congestion though). To me, the cough is the worst. I can tell it's improving, but every day feels like an eternity. To anyone who says this is nothing more than a bad cold or flu... they couldn't be more wrong. It's terrible, and I can't imagine having had this in the early days.

Covid started 6 days ago with a bout of nausea/vomiting 🤢 Sore ribs, extreme fatigue, headache, light headed, sinus congestion, but no fever at all. I took Mucinex every 4 hours which helped alot. Eating and drinking healthy foods and getting lots of sleep. UPDATE: I hope everyone who responded in the comments is on the mend from Covid. Yep. Dodged it for the same time. Just got it. Luckily my symptoms are incredibly mild however the loss of taste and smell gave me a panic attack for the first time in like 10 years. It came on so fast and was jarring. Even the air outside that I was breathing was just so bland. I can usually smell the grass and beautiful flowers. The water I drink somehow tastes bland lol. Everything else was luckily fine though it’s mostly just anxiety of having it that’s really made me shook. Hope you get help and get well!

Monitoring and recording my vitals and other essential details at regular intervals, like a practitioner would do, and looking for" trends" helped me recognize my progress objectively. You placed me in the right frame of mind to handle my own at-home Covid recovery "journey" calmly. As I saw improvement, I became hopeful. Knowing the numbers of concern for BP, O2, pulse, temp., are in essence, truly vital. You taught me when to check again... "an hour later", and provided me much more invaluable info., and you definitely "took the stress out of not knowing what to do" at home. This is so very helpful! Up to date on vaccines. I am on the end of the first week of Covid and even though I am under the care of a physician, they were not very informative in terms of what to expect, and how to treat it at home. To know to sit upright, as opposed to laying down is a big deal. To know that an open window to promote airflow. None of this was mentioned. Thank you for this video. I think that noting your statistics is important. I wish I had done this sooner. I do know to hydrate from a fever which I’ve been doing. Didn’t know oxygen saturation was so important I have no way of monitoring that. Such good information. Thank you.

It was the only food I could tolerate and they were very refreshing & helped alot with nausea also. I'm going to keep popcicles on hand they help so well. Thanks for putting this video together. It was reassuring to read about ringing for an ambulance if you should faint which I did and a friend rang them. Can’t fault the care and thorough checks but felt I was wasting there time, which was wrong of me to feel that way after listening to this video. After the checks they slowly got me up on my feet monitoring my blood pressure so this video has been spot on. This is day five since testing positive and still feel quite weak which is hardly surprising due to lack of appetite. Hopefully that will improve because I’ve not really eaten much since Monday evening, 5 days ago. Just hoping I feel more up to doing the things I enjoy so trying to remain positive through the process of recovering.

Thank you for making this video. I'm traveling in Central America and caught covid on the flight. Trying to self isolate and get sufficient nutritious food is a nightmare. After 5 days my fever and the headache are gone, the cough is diminishing and the sore throat is much less painful. Staying cool involves using airco, which dries the air but I'm staying well hydrated by drinking at least 3 litres of water a day. Glad I found this! I'm going to buy one of those oxygen things and follow your advice! I've made it all the way until now not catching Covid. I've masked in public indoor spaces since 2020 and went out once without one and here I am. I knew I'd get it sooner or later but thought I'd be safer this time of year. I've lost three family members to Covid and lost my last Christmas with my dad who had cancer and caught Covid on Christmas. He survived but had severe breathing problems after and died a few months later. My Dad was the main reason I was so careful but after experiencing this, I should take care of myself too. Covid is miserable, especially with having asthma. I wish people would think about other people and at least mask or stay home if they have symptoms. There are a lot of us with sick family or health conditions like asthma. I'm not sure why people have such an issue with masks.

Hi, I tested + 5 days ago. Have worked in our Covid ICU since the beginning. Over 2 years, never caught it. Phizer vaccine I believe has helped. I'm 62 and diabetic. My Doctor prescribed Paxlovid, which seems to be doing its job. My symptoms started with a light sore throat, and mild malaise in the late afternoon, at work. Called in sick for the next day, and felt pretty horrible. achy all over, no fever. No headaches, but strong malaise. Stuffy nose, and weakness. Got tested on day 2, Very positive they said. Days 3 and 4, weak, tired. Congested, Never lost taste or smell, Today is day 5. I havent had any chest congestion, I feel considerably better, mostly just weak when up around the house, still some aches. Still slightly congested. I think I'm getting off easy, and feel blessed. Maybe the fact that even at 62, im pretty healthy except for the diabetes, I work full time still,, and when im not working im very active, on the go, maybe that has helped also. Thanks for the video. Hope everyone here is doing well and back to normal.

I tested positive for the very first time on Thursday evening 21st July 2022. I believe my symptoms started on Tuesday 19th July which involved a very small but noticeable scratchy throat right in the centre, not sore, just scratchy. Didn't think much of it and went to bed. Woke up on Wednesday 20th July, aches and pains all over my body and such a dizzy head. My body was sore from the shower. I continued on with my day and worked as I believed it may have just been a small virus I picked up or something, throughout the day i notcied i had a high temperature. Got home after work and headed straight to bed as I was exhausted. 12 hours of sleep and during that sleep I sweated so much, my pillow and duvets were soaking. Woke up on Thursday morning feeling a little better, less aches and pains, off to work and noticed I was just generally feeling bleh and really fatigued. I tested on Thursday evening and positive right away with such a thick strong line on the LFT. Have been isolating in the spare bedroom to try and prevent my partner catching it. I generally just felt very fatigued over the weekend and slept alot. Tuesday morning 26th July 2022 I'm still testing positive, evening though the line is so very faint, unfortunately, still a positive reading. Fingers crossed I'll be clear tomorrow. This has given me a lot more covid sense now, as I did get very complacent. I believe I contracted Covid from Glasgow Central Train Station as I was working in that property on Friday 15th July 2022. Hope all whom have contracted this make a speedy recovery 🙏.

@@pigloveandhugs Sorry to hear you got to it Linda. I know when you have it, it literally feels like you will never recover. That was me negative after 9 days and back to normal activities and feeling like myself again. Throughout the next few days you'll get so tried, doing the smallest of things and can even make you feel nausea. My recommendation is rest rest rest and sleep it off if you can. Got covid for the first time a week ago. The coughing is just the worst. I can only breathe super shallowly, because if I try to breathe deeply, I start wheezing. I have infection asthma, which doesn't help with this. I can barely eat or drink, so I'm severely dehydrated, since I throw everything I eat or drink up. I'm not coughing blood, but when I cough, I can taste blood. I just tested positive today. Fully vaccinated. My symptoms I guess are considered mild. First two days were sore throat, headache, chills, and warm temperatures but no fever. I feel like it is bouncing around in my chest, belly, and back. I literally feel it moving through my system. Has anyone experienced this?

Thank you for another great video. I tested positive this morning, after thinking it was a bad cold for the past 3 days. I have Fibromyalgia, so always have body aches etc anyway. Drinking a lot of water, taking paracetamol and ibuprofen to help me get through the day, honey, saline nasal rinses ….. Watching KZbin 😀. Hoping the symptoms ease soon.

I tested positive last night for the first time, but I've been really sick since Wednesday. My mother, who has end stage COPD, lives with me as I am her caretaker and I am terrified she's going to catch this. She's 73 and if she does, that's the end of her. On my end, this experience has been an entire roller coaster ride. Yesterday, I slept nearly 20 hours. I slept about 16 today. No fever today, no projectile vomiting either. Congestion on and off. I had 3 vaccines, so I'm hoping this eases up and goes away very, very soon. I'm mostly hoping that my mom doesn't catch this, I'm really scared for her. I've done everything in my power the last 2 and a half years to keep this away from her, I even worked through the shut down because I was 'essential' [factory worker, gag] and I didn't catch it. I'm really disappointed in myself that somehow, I let myself slip.

@Rolling Withthepunches Thank you very much. She did get it, and she needs to be in the hospital. She won't go though, she's very sick but she refuses to go to the hospital. I have a nurse coming out today to assess her and I am hoping she can be convinced to allow me to call 911 to take her. Thank you so much for your kind words.

@@mattmatical2235 Thank you so much. I really don't know how to live without her, I've taken care of her so long. The house is very quiet now. They told me she wasn't going to die, they were going to move her from the ICU on the 12th. I tested negative and went to the hospital and got to talk to her, she sounded great. I told her I'd come see her in the morning and bring her a Coke. Then at 1 am I got a call that her oxygen had dropped to 85% and they had to intubate her. On the 14th I had to make the decision to take her off of life support, and on the 18th she passed. Her covid turned into sepsis and went into her already really damaged lungs. I feel awful.

@@AbrahamThePharmacist Thank you Abraham. Not getting any answers from NHS 111 as they are sayng very busy. Both myself and husband have covid past week but my husband is worse and he is coughing up brown phlegm. Does he need antibiotics as he is 65 with AF and worried the colour of phelgm that it might be a chest infection involved also. He hasn't had a good nights sleep for a week now from coughing.
