Little did they know, Roman actually tried his best to create new Europe's powerhouse, and he did succeed. No billionaire pre Roman built a club as instantly as he is. This is what triggered many people overtime. A billionaire that actually put his energy on a club he loves is basically something new. Up until today, there's only several owners who are actually football enthusiasts. The rest bought the club for mere prestige. Arsenal and United are prime examples of it. In England, only Roman shown interest. City's owner Sheikh Mansour doesn't even care. He'll just give Guardiola his wallet and do anything he wants. Italy used to have passionate owners such as Morata and Berlusconi, but now they're not as rich hence selling their club. In short, passionate owner is a novelty, and they hate us for that.

Mate, a cdm is not just there for his defensive abilities. especially players like rodri/dinho doesn't make this city team less offensive in any way. More offensive players on the pitch doesn't gurantee more shots on target or goal. A certain amount of cohesion is required on the field which was missing because a cdm has been such a big part of city this season. Because of pep not picking a cdm foden, kdb, gundo played out of position. walker and zinchenko had to track back more to help gundo.
