Years ago me and my best friend were the only people we knew play the gameboy color. We LOVED the Pokemon games and when heart gold and soul silver came out, i got gold, and he got an unboxed silver at a garage sale. We went to his house and we turned on our games. Mine worked. His didn't. It froze. We were both worried that his was broken and he needed a new one. When it finally turned on, it was just liked Brandon's. First thing he did was check his profile. There were Pokemon and then when he found out that the unknown said Leave hurry he turned off the game and for some reason when he pulled the cartridge out, the game was still going. He turned off the gameboy and when he turned it back on. It was still there. When he put in a Dr. Mario game, it was gone. But when he played any other Pokemon game, the profile was deleted. Ge got rid of his gameboy and i got rid of mine and we both got new ones. We threw away the game but we will never forget how creepy it was. But when i watched this video. This made me feel so much better that he didn't continue the game. We both would've bee freaked out😅

Just commented on another video, but this deserves the attention. This was easily the most terrifying video I saw as a kid, somehow scarier than those "top ten unsolved mysteries" videos and other creepypastas. Maybe it was the music? Jeez. I was 13 when I remember being scared asf of these old creepypastas. Wanna feel old? I'm 21 now and my first pokemon game was my brother's copy of pokemon white in 2010. To think that gen 5 kids are getting nostalgic already. Not to mention, stories like this were among the first videos I watched online. I didn't know the cliches back then and it's funny to think how scary I thought these were. But I still crave that exciting and heavy feeling of listening to a scary story. It was to give the whole, "Oh hey, it's like Gold!" kind of thing, I believe. Gold is always crying tears of blood, so maybe it was to give it more of an effect that Gold got out of the game and is coming for you next?

LunamanianWolf I know Ethan/Gold (Ethan is actually his canon game name) was crying blood. But I just don't get why it happened to the player (the guy playing the game, aka ABrandomToThePast). I get what you're saying by the way, but why would Ethan get the player when he's the one being tormented/killed? Wouldn't it be the source of his death doing it?

***** Actually, according to the CP of Lost Silver, no. Lost Silver supposedly has a dimensional hole where he comes out of the game. He torments you, tells you how useless you are, and you wouldn't be missed if you vanished the way he did. Besides - most people don't want a "silly old gameboy game" anymore, so... To make money, find it after that person dies from the depression and torment, the person who found it sells it, the story repeats itself.
