My heart's so broken for Jackie when I watched this when this was aired. It's been a long time since, but re-watching this now I still feel that Benjie was a first-class asshole to Jackie, especially for the two boys at that time, what a liar, selfish and self-centered he really was. He has chosen his own feelings over what's good and fair for the Kids. I appreciate and admire Sharon Cuneta more by raising Kc the way she did. sinulo nya ang problema nila ni Gabby, ginalang nya talaga ang right ni kc sa daddy nya at hindi nya siniraan si gabby kay kc to damage her relationship with him, Mega, saludo talaga ako sayo.

The very cruelest thing that could happen to any kid is when their own parent decides to break up their relationship, not even considering what will their kids gonna feel when they grow up, i can say this because this is what i'm feeling right now. I love both my mom and dad so much, and was still hoping that they can be together again in the future. Man, Thinking about this really breaks my heart. :(

After watching this interview, I came to realized that Jackie Forster was not a Bad m0m or woman afterall. She was just so young when she had her 2-boys. 16 years old back then was really an immature age to be a mother & a wife no matter what. & to top it all, it is understandable that she still had some dreams for herself to achieved then. & who knows what really matters between them (Jackie & Benjie) anyways? Only the two of them could tell what really happened behind the scene of the real reason why they separated from each other. Yes! I agree.. that Jackie has been selfish when she left them bcoz no matter what happened, it wasn't the fault of her sons that she made them. But who are we to judge??? Benjie is such a role good-model man & a father, no doubt about it, based on what I've seen from his real life story (Totoong Buhay) But to be a real good father in general includes the "Heart" to understand (wisdom) the "CRY of a woman" especially when she's the biological mother of your kids. Let go of the past & keep moving forward.. we can only do that by "giving & forgiving" Let the boys see their mother for christ's sake! They both have their own family.. so just move on! I agree to Jackie when she said that yes! the current wife of Benjie now is taking care & helping raise her 2-boys, but being a "step-m0m" Can't she advise Benjie & the 2-boys to reach out for Jackie? For the handsome boys Of Jackie & Benjie, I understand the feeling of being "abandoned" by your own parent, but sometimes we have to open up our hearts not our minds to understand why it Happened? We all have just ONE mother who gave birth to us, whether she abandoned you or not the truth can never be changed that our biological m0m is still the only mother who sacrificed to brought us in this world in her womb for 9-months & risk/gamble her life when was giving birth to us. So, why not give her a chance(?) meet her & talk to her heart to heart, I have a feeling that Jackie just didn't tell the TRUTH why she left? The truth why she left Benjie? who knows Benjie had some lapses too(?) It always takes two to tango! "Life is what we make it.." & there is no perfect life. i understand her wanting sometime for herself at that time of her life, because, let's face it, she was just 16 when she first gave birth, and then she still was a teenager when she had her second child.. And then when the temporary separation happened, many things came to mind, she was still a young woman and she didnt have a stable job so maybe she had plans - like wanting to be a better person for her children i.e. so she wanted to study so that they can be proud her (edukada/nakapagtapos as most filipinos would say); she wanted to go abroad to find better job, better life (nakipagsapalaran like the other million filipinos going/migrating abroad for the same reason) It was just a bonus that she found a man that truly cared for her. She wanted to give her sons the best for them by being the best person she can be. - But then, some plans dont work out as you imagine them to be. She didnt think it would turn out that way to the point that her boys wouldnt want to see her anymore. That's why she said "I couldnt understand." I, too, couldnt understand. The only key, in my opinion, is the father, I think. 'Cause the situation wouldnt turn out that way if he just talked to the boys in a way that the mother wouldnt turn out to be such a "contrabida" which i'm thinking he might have because of course he was also, in a way, hurt/angry of their separation. and there's that thing called "ego" so maybe he wanted some kind of revenge on her for leaving a basketball/celebrity/legend #opiniononly #peace

maybe she was not really ready to be a mom at 16 pero considering na she was able to be with her children for 8 years kahit papano hindi naman joke un. maybe mahirap lang talaga sa mga anak to forgive her. we dont know the whole story. and maybe kung ako ang mga anak at iniwan ako for whatever reason magagalit din ako. but the thing is like what she has said, life is too short at tumatanda rin ang mother nila. i hope they can find forgiveness

I have the same situation with andrei and kobe.. only my father was the one who's giving us financial needs, ! when my Father decided to leave my mother, He wanted to take me with him but my mother refuses to gave me up even if she knows what facing financial crisis it's gonna bring to us.. she retired early when she gave birth of me, She refused any help my father offers, and found other ways for us to overcome these difficult situations we are facing, she managed to earn some money... she was able to raise me well, eating well, lived a healthy life, with her help I was able to graduate in a university and later found a good and stable job after I graduated... I don't know where would I be and what life I'd be having without my mother today... So please explain to me.. you people that's saying she did nothing wrong with her children!? Just The thought of your mother leaving you in such a young age is devastating! I just can't imagine situations like that.

magkaiba ang prinsipyo ng dalawa yun lang yun pero hanga talaga ako ki carla kc she give up her career for her children kabaliktaran naman ni Jackie kaya yong mga reactions ng mga anak ni carla at jackie ay magkaiba rin... carla's children nag uumapaw ang pagmamahal sa kanya pero ki Jackie her boy's dont even want to see her. we all have to learn from this! i have 2 boys din naman dumadating rin yong point ng financial crisis at hardship with no support system kagaya ng family na makakatulong sana kahit minsan lalo na sa situation ko na ang family ko nasa pinas so wala talagang support system kahit mga kaibigan sa facebook ko lang nakakachat tas 24/7 ako sa house na dipa ako nakakapag drive, inexperience wife and mother na ding work kundi asawa ko lang... i felt like i was in jail, frustrations and stress was creeping out on me to the point na gusto ko ring umalis to make things better HOWEVER, i never leave! i decided to be strong, test my patience and stand on the decisions i made (kahit 21 years old palang ako when i have my first baby... and now, things are a lot better.. my relationship to my family is not broken and financially doing good...not so great but not bad like before...nakakapagpadala na ako ng pera para sa family ko sa pinas (my parents and bros and sis) while doing well with my family here..in the end of the day, God save me and this family :-) yong faith ko lang sa kanya ang dahilan kung bakit ako naging strong sa time ng hardships.

I left for USA when my kids were 7&8 yrs old. Only had contact with them when fb came to be. After 20 yrs, I came home for the first time. But thanks to God, my kids welcomed me with open arms! No love lost! I wasn't expecting that. I guess it's up to the kids, give them time, time heals all wounds!

There are always two sides to a story. I can see how sincere Jackie is at trying to make up for the lost time. And nobody really knows what has transpired between the two. I’m sure both Benjie & Jackie had their differences to settle and that they were also younger at that time. IMHO, there’s more to this. jackie deserve her sons attention, makikita mo naman sa video ang pagkatotoo at pagpapakumbaba ni jackie para lng makita ang mga anak, nakakabali at mabigat sa puso na ang ina ay umiiyak para sa mga anak, the kids should look and hug their mom, kung ako cguro yan at ganyan kaganda pa ang mama ko proud pa rin ako.

tao lang po tyo...basta mahalaga forgive, ang gusto lang naman ni jackie e makita nya mga anak nya...hope benjie would allow that. ako nga 1 yr. old lang ng iniwan kami ng tatay ko...pero napatawad namin sya and we reunited...ganyang lang ang buhay.

the bible say "honor your father and your mother", tao nagkakamali,i have a broken family because of my mom,she abandoned us for like 30 years,we're very angry and hated her so much,but then time came, i went to her and see what is going on and i just realized and i did understand everything,masakit na nakikita mo nanay mo na ganon,pero mas masakit pag nakikita mo ang nanay mo na nasasaktan,kaya sabi ko sa sarili ko 'di ako magsasawang mahalin siya dahil galing ako sa kanya,kahit ano pa siya..she's my mom and i realized at the end that i still love her and she need respect too..
