Hi there, 💜💜💜💜💜 Benjie Paras, I don’t know him well enough, but when I had TFC, I got to see him from time-to-time. I wanted to know his life, so I watched the video and started reading the comments. He lost a lot of weight and he looks so fragile. Simple, soft spoken and very humble. 💜💜. I was born and grew up in V. Mapa Sta Mesa, Manila. back of us is Reposo. There was a basketball court. My place was Corner of Ramon Magsaysay Blvd/V. Mapa Sta Mesa. Jeepneys, papasok dito, tapos baba ka na sa Pagasa Street at tuloy-tuloy na hanggang pagikot paakyat sa San Juan River Bridge. Jeepney’s signed San Juan, Sta Mesa/Quiapo and return. Diyan kaming nagsisimba sa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Alam ko ang Stop and Shop. Pero noong nagbalikbayan ako wala na Stop n Shop. Nakakagutom pag dumadaan kaming sa Stop and Shop. Mga foreigners ang mga nakatira diyan at ang mga bahay ay mataas na mga fences. Maraming na ngayon mga jeepneys nahihintay sa tapat ng dating Stop and Shop. Jeepneys’s Stop. May classmate ako nakatira sa Santol. Laging ako sa Maynila, lakwatchera ako. I went to P. Burgos Elementary School. Maganda pa ang Burgos noong. Yon lugar namin ay maganda din noong, but then I saw on KZbin, pangit na, masikip, madumi at dikit-dikit pa. Lumiit yon aming kalsada. I was 18 when I met Benjie Paras (he probably doesn't remember me) in a small gathering at the home of a common friend. Paras was on his 2nd (?) PBA season so he was really very popular at that time. All I can say is that although he was so famous at that time, he was very down-to-earth, no air of arrogance at all. Funny, too.

Na hilig talaga Ako ng larong basketball dahil sa kanya... Noon pag inaya Ako ng kaibigan ko na manood ng Liga ng basketball Hindi Ako sumasama dahil boring sakin. Pero nung minsan napanood ko siya sa tv dahil sa mga kaibigan ko, nakita ko siya mag laro una ko napansin sa kanya ay Yung kabaitan Niya during the game kahit nasasaktan o napa foul siya ay Hindi marunong mag reklamo. Simula noon ay lagi na din Ako nasa basketball court at sumasali na Ako sa mga Liga. Every Monday ay inaabangan ko Lagi ang sports magazine kapag may picture si Benjie or Lalo na poster sa magazine. Binibili ko lahat iyon at gugupitin at ididikit sa wall sa may higaan ko. Kapag natatalo noon ang she'll Wala akong gana Kumain😂😂 salamat Benjie...
