I'm cautiously curious: there's some potential, although I'm not a fan of Scott Snyder and I fear a negative influence from him. Then again, among the writers there's Ewing, which could represent a safety anchor.

So darkside used his omega sanction so much that it created it's own DC universe separate but complimentary to the main continuity that everyone is being built up again in a different Earth where everyone is basically more grounded and rugged possibility causing a conflict so distinct it will reshape the entire landscape of the cosmos itself which involves an unrestrictive collaboration of artist's and writers making everything truly matter....yeah I'm ABSOLUTELY in.

I started reading comics in June of 2023 Slowly over at Marvel I jumped at their new ultimate universe and then the new Captain America series Also i just started their new X-Men comic "from the ashes" relaunch I always appreactiate a fresher start! So I am excited to see a jumping on point for DC with the new Arcs and absolute universe! My favorites are Batman and Superman!

I think San Diego Comic Con will be where we see more news drop in regards to what is coming this fall and winter. I'm excited. :) I would stay tuned for some more announcements this weekend.

Wonder Woman's redesign is the only one I like of the trinity. Personally, I think that the other two look ridiculous, especially Batman. My concern is that the phrase "all in" implies that you've got to buy a lot of the titles to get the story and it'll end up being the same reason I dropped off the Krakoan era. I'm less likely to even begin this time. If I can read one or two titles, then maybe. If I need a lot to get the whole story, then no.

I don't mind the Absolute Batman costume, yes he has a rectangle on his chest but the costume has a "less is more" kind of change to it, he even has trunks! (sincere cheer) What ruins the look for me is how big he is. He looks like Brock Samson nothing against Brock, I love Venture bros. I just can't help but feel like i'd enjoy the costume more if Bruce's body looked more like Henchman 21 for the later seasons of Venture Bros. Gary Fisher has muscles but also has 20 - 30% body fat. A Batman with that body type would be a real underdog!

I definitely hear what you're saying and agree to a certain degree. However, I'm personally looking for Absolute to do something REALLY different with all the characters compared to the main universe. I'm just excited to see what new directions we can take Batman without being tied down to continuity. Also, let's not pretend Brock wouldn't want to be Batman if given the chance 😂

So in other words DC was jealous of Marvel's Ultimates Universe and had to come up with their own version Sorry, not as excited. This stuff just bugs old guys like me. It's like companies trying constantly to outdo each other about how to make their heroes less and less heroic and more and more dark...I guess I am just too old for this focus on the terrible parts of humanity and not on calling us to our better selves... Kind of an ugly Frank Miller verse vibe. Yep, never was a fan of the who Frank Miller thing either.

How about DC and Marvel just and and make a manga industry and pander to the men like the Japanese and do everything that Japanese do done dinner because we're tired of the Batman's and the Spider-Mans and all these stupid stories because it's just redundant like didn't really have to see all of Batman or anything of Batman to know what everything is it kind of got shoved in my face
