This is not a reboot or an event. It's an initiative that also primarily introduces and features another universe which will likely spiral out of an event but be its own thing. The new universe also promises different and unique versions of classic characters.

What would be cool as if they had like the anti-monitor come in and kind of take all the powers and he’s the reason they all lose their powers and he takes it back to their universe because he needs more power and it’s more of a direct way rather Than just getting it from being outside the universe and then being in that tube and somehow the heroes or the monitor helps them get it back. I know it seems a little bit of something close to crisis with a bit of different twist, but that would also explain better reason for the anti-monitors and why they monitor our universe may we like a power cell or a battery and the people or superheroes that have powers all come from the beliefs of other peoples or the emotional spectrum such as the speed force and the Green Lantern rings and the monitors just use us as a battery so they can tap in and get that power from us.

I'm excited. Really really hoping it truly is a departure from the normal stuff they do for each character. Also, although I understand why Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, and Flash are the ones they are starting with, I wish they spotlighted some other ones instead (or too). Maybe even choose a villain or two instead.

To be honest, I couldn't be less excited about this. The onlu series I might be interested in is Absolute Flash because off Lemire and I probably won't get it. I also find some of the designs terrible, specially the Gears of War Batman and the hydrocephalic Black Mask. Its very disapointing to me that DC has announced so little about comics when they are a comic publisher. I hope they reveal new stuff soon. I don't want to take away other people's exitement and I'm glad there is many people enjoying it.

I’m so exited for a new universe (like marvels ultimate universe), I’ve haven’t exactly struggled to keep up, but a new jumping on point with different takes on characters will be such a great and interesting time to jump on, hopefully these characters will actually be able to grow and actually die (like in invincible)

I’m glad they didn’t go with “Powerless”, as that just brings to mind the live action TV show that was based in the DC universe a years ago. I enjoyed the show, but it only ran for one season.

Peacemaker McKnight is ABSOLUTE on point ❤❤❤❤❤. AND I went on a Disney plus binge and watched all the marvel movies I've missed including the eternals, morbius, quantumania, Deadpool 2, the marvels, and venom etc. AND I actually enjoyed all of them. And I'm so happy that Scott Snyder is back to help bridge new 52 and rebirth continuity together that's not tied to the main prime earth but exists in the same multi verse as it. I'm also loving the practical designs for TBWL aka beefy Bruce 🦇 Wonder Witch, AND Kal El or in this case El Kal (The Kal 😂😂🙏🏾) for the sake of being in Brazil

So what are they gonna call their Absolute Editions of these characters? Absolute Absolute Superman? Absolute Absolute Wonder Woman? I hear DC is is getting a new logo. Well, going back to the '72-'74 logo which is the bullet logo. It's my favorite but I'm tired of DC always changing logos. Just pick one and stick with it longer than 6 or so years.

Absolute DC is in its own universe. It runs parallel to the main continuity but is separate. So those aren't going anywhere. :)

@@VampX13 good to hear. With the “omniverse “ they have they can get away with something like this. Just always make sure that the main continuity doesn’t get messed with too bad. A couple of those reboots were for the birds.
