Instructions on install: • Add Apple Car Play & A...
1. Remove Radio Door and Trim
2. Remove Radio door using a pick tool to push out the joints. Then with your thumb push out the door holder
3. Take the magnet holders of the kit. Install on the radio trim. left side use the hole created from pushing out the door holder. Right side use the bottom hole that is there from factory (no drilling needed).
4. Take our your current radio and unplug everything.
5. Solder the Green wire to the Green wire with red stripe
6. Solder the brown wire to the Yellow wire with blue stripe
7. Connect harness to OEM harness
8. Plug in the minijack connecter that's attached to the two wires you just soldered into the Blue hole in the back of the unit
9. Plug your Microphone into the Red hole
10. Connect the harness power to the unit.
11. Push everything in and screw everything down
12. Re-install the radio trim
13. Take the ribbon cable and connect it to the back of the screen. Make sure you connect your USB cable to the back of the screen as well
14. Connect screen to the trim with the magnets

@@Conquieftador this is the Sony AX-5500. I dont know about tom tom but it comes with Apple Carplay and Android Auto which imo is probably better so i would use that.

I just wish Honda didn’t put the HU so low, the screen is way down there that you wouldn’t want to look down so much for carplay etc

unfortunately i did sell the S2000 about a year later.so i cannot give a long term review. But for the time that it was installed it worked flawlessly.

The store that sells this is Absolute Electronix. It's not listed on their website as it's a limited run product that the owner is doing on his spare time for a smaller community. The Facebook group is the only way to purchase one new as each one is made to order.

it does have bluetooth but the Carplay feature is not wireless

Flawless, i use it every single time i take the car out. Its even been through some autocross events and the magnets hold up to the sudden directional movements of the car
