That's what he was trying to build, a reactor (LFTR) that would solve the world's energy problems, that would use existing nuclear waste as fuel (once running), produced waste that was only radioactive for 300 years (instead of the current 10,000), and that if a meltdown occurred, the whole liquid reactor would cool down and turn into a chunk of solid rock (salt). These reactors will happen, but about 100 years later than they could have. And when the world has solved this problem, it can then move on to solving the problem of a beard trimmer that measures in mm, not whatever they're using now. On the bright side, it won't be long until it looks like you're giving that squirrel a blw job again.
