I save my scraps and keep them in colour piles. I will dip into them when I need to but mostly I wait for the warm weather, a sunny day above 24°C and then I use my designated blender and water and blend all the green patterned and or green plain paper. I then pour the blend into a tray and with my mould and deckle I make my own paper and turn each sheet out to dry in the sun. Use up the blended mixture, wash out the blender and then blend all the reds and pinks and make paper, make a yellow blend, a blue blend etc. By the end of the summer I have a pile of gorgeous home made paper which I then use on cards, scrap book pages, journals, or create note books. I also tie up a bundle of each coloured page and gift it.

I think I need to get some rice paper 😉 Sometimes I overcomplicate things in my mind but I really don’t need to when you use simple techniques for great results. Well done Natasha, you’ve definitely inspired me to use up my paper scraps 😊💕

Oh, my! You hit on all my loves with this video: houses, wonky, mis-matched colors/patterns, etc. I can see gnomes next to these houses. I don’t use my scraps as much as I should. I finally had to harden my heart and toss the smallest pieces of scraps a couple of months ago…I just couldn’t keep them all. Still struggling with the storage part. I’m wondering, are your paper packs more scrapbook weight paper or a little more on the card stock side? Happy New Year, Natasha!

I see this as a kid's birthday card, with a door that opens and something special inside, a special butterfly or flower or a sticker or something. Or setting it up on foam like a shaker and put a piece of candy or gum behind the door. Thank you for the great idea! 💛😊

One way I bust my scraps is making bookmarks to donate to senior living places and Veteran centers. Sometimes in place of foam tape I zigzag fold strips they work for wobbles as well.

Do the seniors use book marks? Nice, if they use them! I do most of my reading on kindle. It is much cheaper than buying actual books! I am 82 years old. I like the ability to adjust the size of print. I have vision Problems and this a big help. I am also a tightwad! I read many books for free on kindle unlimited. Books on Kindle are dramatically cheaper than books in print. Also I am trying to prevent adding actual books to my collection. I like cute bookmarks but was not sure if very many people used them anymore.

These are adorable. There are times when I just have to get out from under a pile of scraps. If I keep trying to do something with them I get so frustrated I can’t do anything. I’m learning to pay attention to my inner response to a piece of paper. Is it causing good energy or negative guilt because I haven’t used it properly. I don’t have to do everything I should.

How cute, 😂I would have a mess in my hands, dang it this isn’t straight, now the other side is off, ugh the bottom is really bad, now look at that side it’s really wonky. And so on, until I’ve cut it down to nothing but crazy cuts 😢I can’t cut without a template or a die. I’m lost at doing any form of freehand cutting. But you’re a beautiful designer. Tfs ❤😊
