I feel a little bit sorry for the mechanic living in a single wide trailer. On the other hand, we live in one now. It allowed us to buy a small house which we rent out. Instead of buying a boat or anything fancy, we paid off both places, put a metal 50 yr. roof, and drive an old car and old pu truck, (you can't go wrong with Toyota). We don't owe anybody anything, and our trailer is warm. I followed the advice of my grandparents, who survived with difficulty, the Great Depression. My husband's retiring in 2 months, and our tenant's leaving at the end of this month. Bur we have the money to pay the taxes if we don't find a new tenant, and we're not all stressed out, as are many people we know. Bless you, gramma & gramps!

My sister and her husband moved down here to Florida. They looked around and found a wonderful mobile home that a Canadian couple owned for $15,000! It’s so nice. They paid cash, no credit card bills. Last year during Covid, Canadians could not come down so many elder snowbirds sold off their homes, condos, and mobile homes knowing their return would be uncertain. Canada has recently allowed travel into the US. Supply and demand.

Good on you. That's a smart way to live. It's quite nice not having mountains of debt and who needs a mansion anyway? There is no shame in living in a trailer.

Why did he not ask if they wanted to purchase it back because I was think that would since it was from another royal to another person in the family they might want it for the museum to be displayed at the palace

When they ask you what you want, dont say 18 because thats what youll get and they will resell it for double. If you hope for 20,000 get the ring valued first. Before you start negotiating

Why only offer 3750 pounds (suit of armor ) to this poor guy who lost it all, is trying to move out of a caravan for winter, when you can afford to travel to Ibiza and elsewhere regularly, obviously have the means to pay the 4000 pounds and even the 6000 pounds he was hoping for. What is to you? How much is 250 to 2250 pounds out of your pocket when it can drasticaly change someone else's life? How cheap! Stop, realize how fortunate you are, and SHARE MORE! And that applies to each and everyone of us!

He likely got paid an appearance fee for being on the show. Besides which, there are millions of people who could show up at his door with even worse problem, so is he supposed to give away money to all of them? And he did help him out by buying at all.
@teepeewabbit3 жыл бұрын
I agree, I found it appalling he didn’t just give the poor man the full amount he needed of four grand, it is certainly worth that and more. He really had the man up against the wall.

He put his dishes in it not his treasure, lol. Were you even watching the video? They even listed off exactly which dishes were kept in that particular box because it's on the label. "Treasure chest" is just what they call it.

Honestly im watching this kind of show i won't mention it but im disgust to those people. People came there for help them out but what they do it's far from fair they calling a expert so they can rip the seller. BUT this show was awsome they fun freindly fair the brits realy came with a high class attitude.👍

Too bad Mom had to give Nan’s ring to Joe to live in Spain....At that age you suppose to have cash to give to your daughter. If you played your cards right in life! Too bad a lot of people don’t understand “savings”.....Always pay yourself first when your pay check comes in when you are young even if it is a small amount!🤑☝🏼
@ShweMyaukMyauk3 жыл бұрын
At that age, she shouldn’t be giving anything to anyone
@kibblenbits3 жыл бұрын
@@ShweMyaukMyauk No, the mother is not 'suppose' to have cash to give her daughter(sounds like you're another selfish child, who never grew up). The daughter has no children and no reason why she couldn't have saved her own money(she's obviously old enough)! She wants a life she can't finance. She needs to work and pay for what she wants, not have her elderly mom do it. She is pathetic!
