I watch the show a week later sometimes! Sometimes I'm busy and can't read the comics or can't stay on KZbin too long. So I might just watch both episodes back to back when I finally get a minute. You guys are fun to listen to, even if it's slightly outdated.

I met G. W. Wilson at Baltimore Comic Con struck up a conversation with her not realizing who she was. She gave me a free copy of "the Hunger and the Dusk" and signed it. When I saw the signature I flipped and I called my friend over to come meet her. It was a ton of fun. She was so nice and it was the first ever signed thing I've ever received from a celebrity/creator.

My grandmother Vera Gene Morris was a teacher for LeBron when he was in Akron, I grew up reading comics and loving basketball and she was the person to give me my first comic book. So this is, amazing to me.

Tiff's flat "why" at 23:06 is gold. I had to pause I was laughing so hard. Something about the tone and the complete lack of hesitation was too perfect.

I’ll add on to the “great time to be a DC Fan,” comment with it’s a great time to be a new DC reader. Dawn of DC has given me a handful of books I’m really excited about and All in is just doubling down on that.

The end of the Death in the Family DC Vault was a home run until the last page. It felt like a slap in the face.

1:22:27 Sal actually made a really good and fun idea. Still fits “with great power there must also come great responsibility” but also a nice wrinkle

Caught this after having to miss it live, I gotta say I am so glad I preordered Absolute Wonder Woman. Which means something because I’m still getting my feet into the water in terms of reading comics. I’ve read it three times already.

Maybe I’m the outlier here but I have been going back to watch older weekly episodes as I just got into collecting and really enjoy both of your insights! Helps me narrow down my huge tbr list lol

I watch the show a week late because I buy my issues on Tuesdays when my LCS allows me to cherry pick Wednesday's new releases so I get all of my variants and crisp copies. Out of gratitude, I stock and organize their back issues shelves for the overstock of new releases. Slowly organizing their long boxes too.

Im not into most western comics. I only ever read a handful at a time but i still watch the show because i like listening to your thoughts about current events. Even if those current events are months old

Hey Sal! I too sometimes watch the show way later as I’m never caught up on my stuff. Although now I’m caught up, but I honestly keep more up to date with off the rack more than back issues. Off the rack for the win!

1:38:58 EDGE, huh? Is that a WWE comic book about the "Rated R SUUUPERSTAR!?" lol It doesn't seem like it. And now he's injured but might be back in AEW.

A minute and a half in and I get to prove Sal wrong. Some of us do watch this show a week later 🤭

I do need to check out Taylor's Detective Comics. He can play things safe, but I typically read it as him just thinking that after all these years, these characters should be capable and shouldn't fall into the same trappings as previous stories just for some manufactured struggle (looking at you Spider-Man). So, he focuses on great character interactions. That was my favorite thing about his Nightwing run. I did LOVE Absolute Wonder Woman. I'm a big fan of Kelly Thompson, and she keeps crushing it. The art was phenomenal as well.

Darwyn Cook suggested the idea that Batman values life so dearly because of his Fathers hippocratic oath in "Batman ego" No disrespect to Tom, Im not suggesting he stole the idea (sometimes writers just have the same idea) However I have seen a few examples of Tom using ideas iv read somewhere else. Which again I understand that makes the world feel more cohesive, its a shared universe after all. But it is something iv noticed threw out his career.

I was more wondering why he repeated the hot daughter of my parent's murderer from Snyder's detective comics run. Granted that was Dick as Batman but it has been done.
