Should've gone straight back in once you'd shown them that there was no signage. Ignore what she said - she can't make you leave a publicly accessible area on her word alone. She'd have exactly the same authority if she tried to prevent people wearing purple from walking on the public path - i.e. bugger all. Get them reported for breaching GDPR & wearing an unauthorised gang badge.

@@simonneep8413 it was worn by Carrick and Couzens with pride, it's also so disrespectful because on average they are responsible for approx 200 of us dying every year due to their ineptness or spitefulness when only 0.9 police officer pass away every year in England,scotland and Wales + a few other good reasons not to wear it.. Looking at 2022/2023 there were a total of 196 police related deaths. 23 whilst in custody, 52 from suicides post custody. But lets take the highest figure of 196. There were 764,924 custody detentions, thus the rates of (196) police related deaths to those taken into custody is 0.25 / 1000. In 2023, there were 581,363 deaths registered in England and Wales, let's say the population there is 60 million. That's a rate of 9.7 / 1000. Apparently you're over 40x less likely to die whilst in contact with the police... Police deaths seem indeed surprisingly low, one in 2023, two in 2020, thus low number statistics don't reveal much valid data. In this case Wikipeida seems the easiest source to get data from, but I notice David Rathband (suicide after being shot by Raoul Moat) isn't listed there. Anyway, lets take the figures from 2000 onwards, which gives 34 over 14 years, or 2.4 / year. With 234,438 in 2023, that's a death reate of 0.01 / 1000, so significantly less than the police-related death rate. Back to the poppy; in the wars, many innocents have been killed, but we still wear poppies with pride. Based on the hatred for the thin blue line badge, shouldn't the same hatred be shown for poppies? Or in other words, people do sadly die after being in contact with police, but does that mean the police should not be allowed to commemorate their fallen comrades?

Its an old sign tgat started off decades again, if they see it being worn they know that person is also in the same club and will cover their back any way possible no matter what crime they commit, basically a club/society inside the force. Its history is literally online

The police have sent armed police to his house in the early hours of the morning for a “Welfare Check”. We need AB he makes them look like complete fools 99.9% of interactions. The rest of the time he stumbles on a good one. Another stat 35% of police officers have a criminal record, they need watching.

No shane but if its policly and you are employed by them then you have to abide by it as of it was law/rules......there are only a few policies that by contract law would be un enforceable by companies and they are normally the type that would clash with personal data protection, human rights and anything dangerous etc

@KeithBurtons it is indeed a civil matter, which doesn't mean you can't be trespassed off Police property, but does require the landlord (or his agent) to issue the trespasser with an instruction to leave the property. I am led to believe (happy to be corrected) that the landlord would be the PCC, and that only Constables of Inspector rank or above can act as their agent (acting in a civil capacity, i.e. not with Police powers), therefore a mere PC or Sgt cannot trespass someone off Police property without abusing their powers; that won't stop them pretending they are boss and thinking they can do it though, but could land them in hot water potentially.

The police are public servants not public masters and we need to keep recording them to make sure they don't overstep their authority. Pc perry lathwood, inspector Dean gittoes and DC Danielle Kirkby would not have been prosecuted if people hadn't been filmed. Please keep up the good work reporting

Clearly if they have no respect for this Law, Police Policies & Procedures & lack Integrity as a result of these poor attitudes, what else are they ignoring? Which other laws are they breaking ? In my opinion, auditors like AB, DJ Audits, DJE , TLD, Absolute Audits, etc. might like to get together IF they watch a video of one of the others where they feel that the cops, the regime have overstepped themselves and then go for it legally or even just visit the same place. Yes, I realize that each auditor has his own agenda but at the end of the day, despite the opposing opinion that they are wasting police time - they are in fact showing the two-tier lawfare and policing. Just a thought.
