The difference between Catherine and all other brides is she had YEARS of run up to the wedding. Catherine knew what was up ,knew what she was in for. William had seen the absolute debacle his mother ran into . No warning little training and it took years for her to adjust to the game of thrones. Catherine knew how the games were played. Why she landed on her feet perfectly appointed with her game face on. William protected his wife with KNOWLEDGE. Catherine gave him a home.

And that’s why Harry should have listened to William when he said Harry was rushing things with Meghan. Not to say that Meghan was necessarily a bad choice, but if they had took longer dating or being engaged, she would have had more time to get used to how the press covers the Royals (as opposed to Hollywood press) and how the monarchy works. It might have helped them stay in the Royal fold or they may have realized it wasn’t going to work before they got married and called it off. Now it’s just a huge mess and they are refusing to take at least partial responsibility for what broke down.
