Just wait until you see the next manually controlled elevator in another store not far from this one! The similar thing happened as well. On top of that, I’ve even became friends with a few of the staff members in that other store as well!

Glad you got to see this thing! The operator who was running this elevator the day i went barely spoke English/understood what i was saying, but at least he was nice enougn to let me ride it

Do you remember how many days either before or after I went on this thing? Because from it looks like is that people switch shifts each time is likely why. Not sure if you also know this as well, Julien, but I’m coming to New York City on April 6th. Speaking of changing operators, the operator who helped me run the camera was literally called into a meeting right after I finished recording, so it’s pretty obvious.

It’s an old piece of historical vintage elevator from 1900.
