well yes, usually its the other way around :p I watch movie trailers all the time(to put movies on my radar) and its quite frequent. Sometimes they take so long because they dont find distributors, many cinemas wont put the movie on, since you can easily see it on a DVD/BLUE-RAY and prefer the latest big named movie from the states. WE have quite a decent cinema here in Europe

I remember seeing the original version on an old movie channel. It was an old black and white movie. An average man was given god-like powers. I want to say the people in the movie all had Irish accents. Luckily that one didn't have dog poop jumping into a toilet, but it was pretty much the same conceit. Wish I could recall the name and actor, but I saw it probably a decade ago. I think I really liked it but the ending was a bit of a cop out. Which is o be expected in a story like this, I mean the guy will either lose the powers or maybe leave to join the aliens, or die. These are really the most obvious types of endings available. Or it will have all never 'happened'. It will have never taken place or he will have forgotten. Only so many plot possibilities.
