Marcela is amazing - she is my favorite singer and composer in the metal universe. As a magazine said, with her latin american passion "sent symphonic metal to the south". Quite different to other metal bands in that genre.

Great reaction!👍 Just a little background information: This band was started basically by Dutchman Arjen Lucassen. He is the mastermind behind Ayreon. In 2004 he released the Ayreon album The Human Equation. Singer Marcela Bovio reacted to a ' casting call Arjen had put out for more ' unknown' singers on this album. He liked her voice, for the character she had to play, she flew from Mexico to the Netherlands and the rest is history! He started Stream of Passion with Marcela on lead vocals with some other Dutch musicians later on. After the debut album he stepped out to focus on Ayreon , and he was sure the band good go on without him. They did untill 2016. Marcela still lives in the Netherlands , is married with the basplayer from Stream of Passion and joins Ayreon if Arjens asks her. The Human equation really launced her singing career.. Check out Ayreon, its great. For example " The day that the world breaks down" ..

They have some songs in Spanish because Marcela is Mexican, but the most of their songs are in English.
