Putting on the mask won’t turn you into a monster while in space or on the Company planet bc those are non-monster zones. Pezzy kept putting the mask on in places where it doesn’t work so it just killed him outright

I suppose you’re referring to the Forest Giant… And of the outside monsters: -the dogs can be killed and the frog things -you can’t damage the bees -I suppose the birds could die, don’t know for sure -So that leaves the Forest Giant and the Worm since there’s nothing you can do to deter them so running is the only option

Oh giants can be killed, in a very very specific way and it includes the Worm. There's even a clip of a guy who got grabbed by a giant, only to be saved by the worm by eating the giant.

The funny thing about the masks is that they have a 'random timer' that generates a value of time you have to hold it up for it to possess you. Tragedy's is almost always instant, but Comedy's is almost always a few seconds. That's why they were sure Comedy didn't kill you. Also, fun fact, there is a mod that makes the masks go to your hand every few seconds if they're in your inventory, and you have to 'fight the urge' to put it on, because the game will try to put the mask on you if you don't actively stop it. Great mod. Combining the masks with Skinwalker Mod is also a great time, because what Skinwalker does is record your conversations every time you land (until you take off or die) and monsters will use those voice lines at random intervals. So imagine a Mimic (that's what they're called) walking toward you speaking as a friend you're playing with. I've seen a creator get killed by a dog that legitimately said 'I'm outside, open the door', and he opened the door to berate them for talking when there were dogs outside.

One of my friends pretended to be a masked so I locked the door on him and said "speak mother fucker" and 2 rounds later one of the dogs repeated that to him while he was sneaking past. The skinwalker mod always has incredible timing

The Bracken can be killed but you either need a gun to straight up shoot or buy a tool that stuns him so you could shovel him

Bracken CAN be killed normally, but it requires like 4-6 hits from the shovel. Goodluck with that considering the Bracken doesn't get stunned and can snap your neck after the first hit

No you can just shovel it to death, but I'm pretty sure its attack range is almost as far as your shovel so it's tricky to space it out properly especially with the bracken chasing you the whole time able to one-shot you

@@pumpkinpartysystem you can shoot it once with the Nutcracker shotgun and it does die, not only have I done it once, I’ve seen it several times on multiple people playing this🤷🏾‍♂️. Way safer doing the shotgun Strat instead of trying to shovel it since it does once hit KO

The ghost girl is seen by only 1 person who loses their sanity she shows up at random points and giggles and skips towards you once she gets close you just die they should add something to it

Imagine she just comes at you faster the longer you survive her, like she'll start out skipping as usual with a nerfed move speed, but once you survive too long she starts crawling at an increased speed with her head just turned upside down

She spawns when a cursed item is picked up. The person who picks it up is the one that sees her. The 'cursed item' is usually a toy of some kind, like the Rubik's Cube or the Toy Robot. You used to be able to cheese her by simply dropping the item outside the ship and she would de-spawn until someone else picked it up, but I think the devs fixed that.

The Voices speak to me 😂 Smitty and Gnag are are just bunch of chaotic fools , giving peak entertainment value. Loved the reaction as always . Lauren is just vibe 😌 . Everything in this game except Forest gaint (can only be zapped to avoid being eaten temporarily) , Ghost girl (the crew with the players haunted has to evacuate as soon as the passive phase is about to end ) , Slime gooey thingy (can only be avoided standing on high places ) ,and the New Jack in box (Can be reset into its passive form again if everyone exits the building and then return after a min or so ) can be killed either by sign and zap , or the shotgun strat .

Think only monsters that can't be killed are the forest guardian, the ghost girl, the slime and the jack in the box. Everything else can be but they are hard to kill without getting killed, especially the Bracken who can just snap yer neck instantly. Also on the mask think the way it works is if you are somewhere where there's no monsters it will just outright kill you but if you are somewhere where there are, then the possession happens. Kinda breaks though if you try putting it on while in orbit though because ye can't be killed or die in orbit. So you just end up with the mask on your face but still alive, completely fine. Think also voice gets muffled so, yeah. Not a good idea to put the mask on. At least anywhere but one of the moons where there are monsters. Think also maybe the mask will automatically put itself on if you just hold it in your hand for too long, IDK though on that part, I don't know how true it is just think maybe it's a thing.

There's a mod that does that. It equips the mask every few seconds and tries to put it on you if you don't quick-swap. That's probably where you saw that.

The only real purpose of the mask is supposed to be a panic option, if another monster backs you into a corner or gets you by surprise you can wear it to deter enemies as they believe you are a masked monster. But if you wear it too long you'll eventually become possessed, so it's a cool risky item to have.

Ya there's a lot of fake info about the masks. They are JUST a piece of scrap unless you willingly put them on your face. They do not randomly equip themselves, they do not trick enemies into thinking you're one of them(cool as it would be) and they do not turn you if you die while while holding one. Anyone who says otherwise has simply seen modded gameplay

A lil mask lore P.s all of this is available on any wiki of the game, with stats and everything If you die with the mask in your inventory you turn into a monster. If no one picks it up it spawns its own body to possess and iirc the mask also has a chance to possess you even if you don't wear it and just carry it around
