Just completely getting after it in some crazy materials and hearing those chips blasting against the window while that green light is going, spindle turning... it's just an amazing industry we're in. These are some of our favorite machining clips from this summer here at Titans of CNC. We appreciate all of you for watching!

Doubt you see this TITAN but I want to truly thank you 🙏 5 years ago I was just an operator at $12 an hour when I came across your channel. Now today in just 5 years time I’m a level 3 lead programmer at summit racing making $105k/yr and I’m only 30 yrs old. Your academy and videos have forever changed my mindset and my life. I can’t thank you enough.

I'm one of those old school machinist that work with conventionnal machine. Never been into coding, prefered the manual work for custom pieces. (even if those could've been made cnc) This is damn impressive how those tools are able to stand over all this shreding. Nice work, been watching your channel for a while and I love every single machine you have in your shop. Your programmers and machinists are incredible. ❤❤ Love your channel

Titan, on that 3/4 Kor cutting the cast, is the heat in the tooling not an issue? Normally I would stop if I saw my tool heating up like that. Also, i'm just an amateur garage machinist so I'm always learning.
@barrysetzer
@barrysetzer 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, we let it cut like that for 10 minutes just to see what would happen. The tool held up, but that is NOT where you want to be running! We did separate videos on that same cast part showing how you SHOULD run cast iron. Good question! Thanks for watching!

So here's something I've wondered for a while. Do the chip breaks leave lines on the wall cut? Would you have to take a finish pass with a different style tool?
@vanguard6937
@vanguard6937 2 жыл бұрын
Yes and yes. The chip breaking endmills do leave lines all over the part, especially the "corn cob" style. They are just used for roughing, then you would go back and kiss it with the finishing endmill

@sethwatson8952
@sethwatson8952 2 жыл бұрын
I've noticed that in almost all of your videos, there appears to be about as many sparks as chips at times. Also, no coolant, and in this video, one of the tools was glowing red. How is is that the tools stand up to that without dulling, breaking, or loosing their temper right away?
@Epiphalactic

Carbide 😁
@barrysetzer
@barrysetzer 2 жыл бұрын
So, sparks arent bad. Sparks mean that the heat is leaving with the chips. Stainless, steel, cast iron…..sparks are actually ok, as long as youre running thru spindle air blow. Actually better for the tool than coolant. The glowing tool? That would usually be BAD. But it was a test of the tool. Glowed 10 minutes in-cut, and didnt die.

I never have time to read the feeds and speeds and if I pause KZbin puts many graphics over the screen so I can't see nothing. Is it possible to hold the feeds and speeds a little time longer? I'm a home enthusiast and it's so much fun to see how the professionals do and what is possible with great machines.
@hamjudo
@hamjudo 2 жыл бұрын
The overlay graphics go away if you click the video in an otherwise dead area of the image. I have been watching KZbin for years, but only discovered this recently. When the video is paused with overlay graphics, clicking even remotely near the center unpauses, anywhere close to the bottom moves through the video, etc... It certainly wasn't obvious to me that there was a way to dismiss the overlay.

Ok. Metals. Seek the Lord and saviour Jesus Christ before it's too late. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Hell is real and Heaven is also real. You don't want to spend an eternity in Hell torment without God. The only way to escape Hell is to follow Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour. Study the KJV Bible to know more and pray and seek until you find Jesus. Don't delay tomorrow might be too late. You are not promised even the next minute. Do it now

@@barrysetzer disagreement on the content of one of the videos. I called out questionable behaviors mentioned in previous videos vs what titan was publicly blasting a previous employee for in the video. My comment might have been unpleasant but it was not disrespectful or vulgar. And only truths that mentioned in previous videos.
