The homemade 'giant super Liftarupperer' looked a good idea, but turned out to be as effective as a chocolate teapot .....you were nearly spot on when you said 'This looks kinda dodgy......someone is going to get wet' ............. Hey Lee one idea I have mate , is for you to get a slick board, something strong, attach that to a rope and lower it down in front of the rail for future fishing adventures. Then all you have to do it hold it between the object and rail. Hopefully that could work

I got a idea could be good one if it works.. How about making some means of rope basket to get the likes of a safe into it Maybe that could be a better idea than trying to lift a safe up if you only have 5 or less magnets. Unless two of those 5 magnets are electro magnets Heavier yes but, a dam site more POWER!!!! with a variable power ajuster to regulate as to how much power you need fed to the magnet. I am sure it would be far better for lifting things like safes out.Otherwise you'll going to need at LEAST 8 to 12 magnets ( not always possible to have at hand). Think about It LEE & WIMM it could save a lot of time & effort.

So weird seeing a safe with the deposit slots like the one we had at the store I worked at..the red and green boxes were to slide in deposits straight into the safe. The other side was to protect the large amounts of money like petty cash and change rolls

I have watched you pull out many safes, and the struggles you've encountered doing this. I was wondering if you have ever thought of rigging a heavy duty net up with ropes on four corners. After you have the safe up to the surface you could drop the net down, maneuver the net under the safe, and then pull it up that way. Just a crazy thought I had watching you this time.
