Prince Harry and Meghan Markle took a private royal-style trip to Nigeria, despite stepping back from official duties in 2020.
Royal expert Tom Quinn told the Mirror that the trip "confirmed Harry's family's worst fears," leaving Prince William and King Charles "furious".

It's not that easy. Only Parliament can legally take the titles away. We all know how slow they can be. Meegain would still have the Title of Princess Henry. To take the title of Prince away from Harry could cause constitutional problems later. Even I, who do not know anything about protocol with other Countries. I would think it would be very important for a Royal Tour to be from the Royal Family and not from the two who ran away and didn't want anything to do with the Royal Family. But know that everything she touches fails and she gets fired, no-one likes her, she is not getting asked to any A-Listers parties (especially the A-Listers she invited to her wedding). Yes their behavior is outrageous, but these problems were created by the monarchy. The Queen had given them a year to decide if they liked the new life. That would have been the time to deal with titles, line of succession etc., but nothing happened. Then Charles ascended to the thrown, and nothing happened either. He is now sick and doesn't want to deal with these two. People say, well, when William becomes King, but by that time he won't be able to do anything either. You can't let them do their things for years and then suddenly revoke their titles. They will be a thorn in the side of King Charles for the rest of his life, and similar with William. There is nothing at this point that the monarchy can do.
