P!nk struggled with addiction in the 90's and OD'd in 1995. She quit drugs after that. This song is talking about how you feel when you're on drugs and then try to get off of them. You were right about representation of the "I'm safe up high, no one can touch me" lyric being about being high or on drugs. The dancers represent her struggle with getting away from drugs. If you notice, the woman dancing keeps trying to get away from the man but he keeps pulling her back in, then she dances with him for a while, then tries to get away again. It's about her struggles with sobriety. Great reaction though, my dude. P!nk has some pretty amazing music.

Pink said she went to a Cher show and there dancers doing aerials and she thought it looked like fun. She had to train to be able to do them. She said she breathes hard on purpose to let people know she's not lip syncing. She actually does acts from her shows on the awards shows. She has the "filler" dancers perform while she changes. Her shows are amazing live. The best show I have ever been to and I've been going to concerts since 1972. You really should check out her live performances at The AMAs Beautiful Trauma or Try or at The Oscars Glitter in the Air. Her 9 year old daughter even did silks with her at The Billboard Awards last year to the song they recorded together. My mom, my sibling and I went to this concert when I was 7. We'd listen to this cd on repeat and sing the songs together in the car on road trips. She was in the middle of her fight with breast cancer and she wanted to give us a night we wouldn't forget. I'm almost 20 now but I'll never forget it. Once in a lifetime experience. She's recovered now and over 10 years with no trace of her cancer coming back.

I am over 60 and I have been to so many concerts of legendary artists through my life but I have been to 3 P!nk concerts and they were the best ever. She is badass, talented and the most incredible performer. I just left with my jaw dropped. She is funny, real and so damn talented.Through this damn pandemic my biggest worry is she will tour and I might be to afraid to go to a concert venue to see her. I will be devastated.

Just finished watching Pink's music film/documentary where she plays Wembley, this woman never stops, such an inspiration to young people today, singing So What on a wire so she can get to every part of the stadium is amazing, such a gracious, lovely lady, Oh and a brilliant singer, she said she trained to sing upside down, by having Cher punch her in the stomach while she hung upside down Ouch!

Love this soooooo much! P!NK IS SOOOO AMAZING! She has been an acrobat for a long time. She’s been on silks for years as well. It is VERY HARD WORK. She told Oprah in an interview, “Sometimes I’ll breathe loud while I’m doing aerial stunts so they KNOW my mic is live.” She also said she wrote this song while a party was going on and she wanted everyone to go home. You’ve got to love her. Also, this is the same sweet guy from the “Try” video. He is such an incredible human. P!NK surrounds herself with the best people. As also travels with her family while on tour. She manages it all. I just adore her so much. Please look up the interview between P!NK and Oprah. It’s hilarious. She also says she sings better upside down. It’s true.

Definitely should have done "Glitter in the Air" live Grammy performance I believe, if you were going to do one. She's great regardless but that performance is one of the best! Please do that one next!! Her song with Nate Russ "Just give me a Reason" is another great one you should do, it's one of my favorite songs ever. She has said that she breathes heavily into the microphone so the audience knows that she’s singing live and not lip syncing 🤣 She also says it’s easier for her when she has to concentrate on the acrobatics because then she’s not worried about singing (she’s notorious for forgetting her own lyrics) and the lyrics come automatically.

I think she totally did this performance with this song accurately. It was like the lyrics came to life. I love how the male trapeze artist turned out to be her addition and when she got to the ground, she looked up to him to say goodbye and walked away. He did a great performance. This song resonates with me so much right now. I’m 4 months sober. Doesn’t seem like much but it’s a huge accomplishment for me. One day at a time! Would love to see her live one day! Great reaction! And yes, she incorporates 2-4 aerial components during her concerts, as she was a gymnast in her youth, and started practicing with silks & aerial trapeze as an adult. IMO, she is #1 as far as vocal talent of current living female singers (w/ Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson, Adele, Jessie J, Alecia Keyes tied for 2nd), and she always sings live; never lip syncs. MORE, MORE, MORE P!NK, please! I think I subscribed after I saw some of your Taylor .S. reactions, who is #1 on my list of best current female song writers. Great reaction! I think of this in terms of theater. The dancers on the floor are the real characters - when she and the gentleman up on the lift take over, they are the emotional representations of those characters. At the end, with the guy on the ground looking up, I got the feeling he was looking for support and wondering if he could get through this. She just walked off into the sunset.
